I think the cost of ink cartridges are the problem with this printer. The ink will cost more than the printer…..that’s why it’s so cheap. I like brother laser printers. Cost a bit more but ink last about a year and refills are less than $10!
That’s such a good point. Even though I buy ink on ebay cheaply, the price of the ink varies wildly from model to model.
Go to Costco and they’ll refill your ink real cheap
Totally agree! For coupon printing I will go for Brother Laser hands down. This type of inkjet I’d only use for scanning. It does NOT even come with the fax feature! All-in-one inkjet used to mean fax, too. Now I have to go do fax at office centers… 🙁

Brother Laser mono HL-2240 goes on sale a lot at office depot for $59. Own mine for almost 4 yrs still works great. Toner last and last…
