I can’t get anything you show up in my cart. I assume you are having the same issues. It’s actually strangely comforting that I am not the only one.
Haha. When I first tried to order right after it started, it added a bunch of items to my cart. Now it’s running fine and I was able to delete some and check out. Hope you guys can get what you want. I loaded up on outfits because the dolls love dress up too!

mine loaded $1200 because It wouldn’t load them in the cart then it did and added several of each…. not doing anything for me now!
I have been *TRYING* to edit my cart and check out for the past 40 minutes much to no avail!! I am just waiting to see my nice empty cart when it finally decides to load 🙁

It’s crazy-busy. I can’t get anything done. It keeps now coming up with Site Error. I’m hoping I can get this done before long, I need to get to bed!
I’ve been trying since 1:10am EST (when I finished my order) and it keeps booting me after I click check out…Its now 1:58EST….48min. of clicking and waiting and getting booted! I will be really mad if I don’t get the items I want after trying for almost an hour (and who knows how long till it finally goes through, if it ever does).
Now it deleted my entire order and it’s not letting me add anything
American Girl site is a mess. I don’t buy their excuse that it is too busy. What did they expect? It crashes for Jill’s Deals and they don’t ever think forward and update the site.

What a fiasco!!! Took forever to get items into my cart and it added tons of multiples … $475.00 worth!!! Sheesh! By the time I dwindled it all down and finalized my selections, the dress I really wanted for my niece was “sold out.” Ugh! Contemplating proceeding … It is a good deal, but she is going to get her very first American Girl Doll this week, when her mom and her visit Los Angeles from Idaho. Truth be told I have NO idea what she will choose. So, I’m thinking I should maybe wait?
Congrats on plunging into the American Girl Doll world 🙂 Just a thought … I hope you realize that there are a WIDE variety of products available for “18 inch dolls” that are not “official” American Girl. For what its worth, yesterday I got a great quality item from Amazon from a brand called Ebuddy that was selling the clothes from Frozen (we got Ana’s dress and its awesome) And if you’re looking for clothes that match for the girl and the doll, you’ll sometimes find the Dollie-n-me brand at Zulily or Dillards (although that one isn’t quite as nice as AGD). PLUS there’s always the American Girl Doll Magazine! Remember, American Girl Doll is a marathon not a sprint 😉

I was able to “place order” but then I didn’t get an email or order number. That is exactly what happened the other week when I tried to get Joseph in as bed set from Jill’s steals n deals. So I give up, the stuff I had in my cart is gone now anyway
I missed the big rush, but by the time I logged on around 1 am central, the one item I wanted was sold out – and too bad because it was half off!

That’s exactly what happened to me. The entire order didn’t go through because one item sold out right before I checked out.
I was using google chrome on a desktop and added items in my cart and checked out instantly 🙂

Can anyone quickly answer….at what point do I enter the code for the$10 off? I’m at the page where I’ve input my credit card #, and it doesn’t give a box for a promo code. The closest thing I can tell is the box that says Key Code (but says it’s from an email or catalogue…but there’s no way to click enter. I don’t want to click continue without seeing that code get entered, because the next page is the Summary, meaning they’ve already billed you and it’s done! Any help is appreciated!
Nevermind…scrolled through earlier comments and found out it was on the shopping bag page in the top right corner. Had to re-input all my info, but at least I know I saved the $10.

I placed my order on Monday. I received an order confirmation right away. But the site is not letting me track my order and the holding on my credit card has been lifted as of the morning. :/ I’m worried that my order will be canceled now. I’ve never ordered with American Girl before now.
