Check out this reader deal emailed in by reader, Lindsi:

TalkTools.com has a coupon code for $25 off with no minimum purchase. I was able to get 3 chewy tubes for my toddler for just over $3 in shipping. These will make awesome stocking suffers for him! There are plenty of other deals to be had on their site with the code CYBER14 as well.

NOTE – when you view your cart, you will see the spot to input the coupon code on the upper left side (looks like the box above). Also, keep in mind that you will have to pay shipping, which appears to start at a little over $3.

(Thanks, Lindsi!)

    • Tia

I’m guessing they are.. what idiot would give their child a snake or feathery scarf anyway.

      • Emily

I’m thinking she meant BPA Free.

    • Lauren

Ruby, I have a 2 year old son with DS as well. Aren’t we the luckiest, most blessed mommies!?!! 😉

Talk Tools is an amazing company! We use many of their products.

      • Amy

I have a cousin with Down’s Syndrome. She’s actually almost 40! I just love her to pieces and she is such a blessing to my entire family!!

        • Sarah Tacoma

my 7 yr old has DS as well. We use both the straw kit and the whistle kit at home and at speech therapy in tandem for oral motor strengthening.

  6. 4Ella

    $10 shipping? Anyone else?

    • rebecca

      my shipping was only $4.76?

  7. lisadesigner1

Please keep in mind this site specializes in tools for special needs.

  8. Amanda

Wow thanks! The Chewy sticks help with my sons sensory needs. Also I got the massaging star which he loves! Thanks Linddi!

  9. H

PLEASE don’t abuse this!!! As a Mom with an ASD kid these are expensive TOOLS we use every day. These aren’t toys.

    • lisadesigner1

Exactly why I commented, H. These tools are expensive and as a mom with a child that has ASD, I would hate to see them be taken advantage of.

      • Queenjen87

Yeah, I looked around for anything I could use with early speech therapy for my 5 year old (she hasn’t started k till next year, but I can tell she will likely need it sense her daddy did as a kid and “paint” is “pank” and few other words that it is very obvious) but I didn’t really see anything that would benefit her (other than bendy straws, she loves those) and left the code unused for me to leave room for others who could really use these products.

        • Sarah Tacoma

the straw kit and whistle kit are excellent for speech therapy – it’s oral motor strengthening

    • Briana

I was thinking the same thing! Wonderful for those who can use this high value code though!

    • Lindsi

I’m the one who emailed this in. Just to be clear, my toddler is a tubie with feeding difficulties. This deal was shared in our feeding group and I wanted to pass it along to others who could benefit as well.

      • Christine

        Thank you Lindsi! Very grateful!

  10. steffany

I have a nephew with autism. He loves to chew on things. Any suggestions as to an item I could get for him?

    • Cj

The nuk massagers are awesome or any of the chewy tubes!

      • Ohiogirl

Thanks Cj. I spotted the sensory bean bag kit and ordered it for him for Christmas. He will love it. Was able to get it for under $9 shipped. So excited! Thank you Collin and Lindsi for sharing.

  15. Elizabeth

Thank you so much for sharing this deal! My 4 year old was recently diagnosed with autism and selective mutism. She is currently in speech therapy. This deal is a huge blessing! Thank you again! : )

  16. Rachel

This site offers great resources for kids with speech issues. I’ve ordered from them before and my sons speech therapist recommended them, too. My 3.5 yr old son with apraxia loves the green chewy tube becuase it’s small enough for his mouth and also has some bumps on it to add another bit of sensory input. So happy about this, great stocking stuffer. Thank you for sharing, Colin!

  17. Elaine

    Is there a gift option?

  18. Britt

This is a blessing! My son has sensory issues and this is AMAZING! THANK YOU!!!!

  19. Eva

Thank you so much Collin! My little guy has autism and LOVES the jigglers 🙂

  20. Karen

Thanks for the amazing deal! I bought 5 horns and a book for $5.12 in shipping. I know this will really help my daughter with global apraxia who doesn’t speak. It is so hard to find companies like this.

  21. Megan

My daughter is four and has been in speech therapy for 2 years and i had no clue about this site. Thanks for such a great post! Loaded up on stocking stuffers that will be fun and benefit her as well!

  23. Rachel

My son is older now but he was in speech therapy for 7 years when he was younger, I would of loved to know about a site like this at the time. This is such a great post to share!

  24. Melanie

  25. alicia g

Got two bottles of cleaner for 11.00 shipped

  26. Erin

My daughter is in speech for many reasons mostly expressive language skills but she has had issues for a long time she is 5. Most notably she can’t seem to keep her tongue behind her teeth for blends etc. any recommendations? My 4 yo also doesn’t have any Rs we are in Georgia and he sounds like he is from boston. The dentist says if he doesn’t get the Rs by first grade he may need his tongue clipped (tongue tied surgery) any recommendations for him? TIA

    • Robin

My son was born with CP with sensory processing disorder. At the insistence of his ENT, I consented to having his tongue clipped at the age of 3. I wish now I would have waited. He had very low oral muscle tone to begin with, but after his tongue was clipped it was worse. It was like his tongue would move faster then his words would come out all jumbled. I had a surgeon here in town who wanted to do surgery on his legs because he had spastic diplegia, and I opted for a second opinion. I took him to Shriner’s Hospital, and they decided to put him in a series of casts until the contracture was almost gone. Less invasive, not very fun for him though. His dentist three years ago wanted to clip the upper part of his lip because his teeth had a gap, I opted to wait, and now they are no longer gapped, and he had no surgery. Get a second opinion. Not every child is the same, and by far am I suggesting that he doesn’t need to have it done, My son is now 15, and is a very well rounded child who had been in OT and PT since he was 8 weeks old, and in speech since the age of 3. He even played football last year, and is planning on trying out for the high school team next year. It was one long road as a single parent, but well worth it. Could not be any prouder of him.

      • Erin

The dentist saw his tongue then asked him to say some words I knew he didn’t have his Rs but I hadn’t mentioned anything to her she saw the issue without ever hearing him talk. I kinda love the way he talks but know I don’t want him not having his Rs in college :p she said wait till first or second grade. We will see just figured if there was something on this site that would help him get it on his own.

    • Allison

My daughter didn’t get her R’s until 3rd grade. The therapist told us that some kids just get them later than others.

    • Deborah B

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE seek the services of a speech pathologist before going through with getting your sons tongue clipped! Many children do not get their Rs until 2nd or even 3rd grade. It may also be able to be fixed by therapy. Most children can speak normally with a tongue tie.

      • Erin

Of course! We have been through a lot with my daughter. I am not an alarmist when it come to medical stuff. I use all natural therapies mostly essential oils for most things in my home. We haven’t even seen doctors other than for well visits for over 3 years. I refused tubes when he had recurrent ear infections and we “cured” that through diet change and essential oils rest assured my children will never be thrown into a surgery without me exhausting all other routes. Which is why I thought someone may have a suggestion of something to use on this site.

  27. Christine

Thank you so much for posting this! Our 15 year old has autism and ruminates. These help him somewhat to control it. I got 5 chewy tubes for just a little over $10. The chewy P’s & Q’s are his favorites and he tends to lose them quite often. So happy for the savings! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

  28. Kimberly

My son has sensory and speech problems, and I didn’t even know this site existed! Thanks so much for posting this deal!

  31. Miranda N.

Excited! Our little one was born with CHARGE syndrome in July and is a tubie. We’re hoping to move her toward oral feeding soon and these little tools really help with enjoying sensations in her mouth. No oral aversions yet! And we’re trying to keep it that way. Thanks for the deal!

  32. Maria

Thank You so much for sharing I was able to get an oral stimulator for my baby with Down’s and just paid $4 for shipping. They used it in his oral therapy session and I had tried looking for it online and finally I got it at a sweet deal Thanks

My order says refunded and there is no explanation!

  44. Happy

Yesterday, they received an email from me regarding their shortsighted business practices. I’ll let you know if they reply.
