A lot of reviews say that their kids ankles scrape on this scooter, anyone have this one? I ordered 2 during the black Friday sales from Target for my 3 and 4 year olds and one of them got canceled. The both need the same thing, so I’m debating getting 2 of these and returning the Target one….
My 3 year old plays on his all the time and he’s never had a problem
My 2yo boy didn’t have any issues, but we have “no shoes, no scooter” rule at our house.
Thanks ladies! My kids only use them with shoes, so I was thinking it shouldn’t be a problem. My daughter is 4.5, but she’s very small with teeny feet so I’m hoping she won’t be too big for it like some of the reviews implied.
Hi my daughter is 5.5 and weighs 54lbs she is just now a bit to big for it but still plays with it. Hope that helps. We have the same rule no shoes no scooter never an issue with scraping ankles. The weight limit on the item is lower than 54lbs I think around 45. Her height is 44 inches tall.
I was gonna get these for my kids cuz they need a 3-wheeled scooter but all the bad reviews about kids scraping their ankles on the back hardware that holds the wheels has me concerned. Might have to skip this and look for a better designed one. :/
Hi we have one of these since my daughter was three. She is now 5.5. Never an issue with scrapping ankles. Love it.

Major issues with getting this in my cart at the right price. Use the hip2save link, that seems to bring it up at $19. I got an error the first time and restarted Amazon and just searched for the title and it came up $39.99. Waiting several minutes while chatting with Amazon about this price jump and trying the link thru hip2save again it brought back the $19 and i was able to add it to my cart this time without it jumping in price. Keep trying!
I have had 2 of these for a few years now… One for my large almost five year old and my petite 7 year old. They still use them all the time! They have scratched their ankles here and there but not anything that you wouldn’t also get with any other outdoor toy. I would recommend them!
