Have this and love it!!!
Thanks for sharing! ๐
I got this for Christmas last year and absolutely love it!
Bought this in January when you posted about it and loved it for introducing purees and saving money! Now I use it for yogurt for my toddler – I buy the big containers and pack them individually so she can feed herself and it is so much cheaper than the $1+ individual yogurt cups or pouches!
Awesome, Hilary! ๐
I reused the glass Gerber / Beech Nut containers and froze my homemade purees in them with absolutely no problem. Perfect portions, zero cost!
That’s awesome Melissa! I’m actually surprised at how popular the “pouches” have become (whether purchased or made at home like this) because of the plastic’s chemical exposure potential to young children and infants. … But, I do understand the convenience.
Do you throw away the pouches or are they reusable? Thanks!
The pouches are not reusable. You can buy reusable ones that work with this device from infantino. Hth
What a great idea! Baby #2 on the way and a toddler who still loves pouches. Just watched the how to video with my son and he is so excited to help mommy make his own pouches!
I dont believe they recommend reusing the pouches. I’m sure people do though…

We have this and love it! Like a previous poster said, we buy larger containers of yogurt and applesauce and then make it into pouches for easier feeding. Sometimes I also add things like steamed spinach or other vegetables and little one never even notices! These pouches shouldn’t be reused but the company makes a pouch that can be: https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=15224536&cp=&parentPage=search
Also, for those concerned, the pouches are BPA, PVC, and Phthlate-Free.
Thank you for the information Christy. That’s great! And sounds like a great product too.
I just wanted to share my tip – I used 8oz Ball jars – first to store breast milk, then to take purees on the go and now just for anything. They are sold as “freezer safe”, which means that the glass is stronger and would not crack or chip in the freezer, which was my main issue with the gerber jars. Also, you can get new lids in case they get to dirty to be safely reused. I never liked the pouches as they are plastic and I prefer glass food storage. Besides, my son is 2 and a half and feeds himself with a spoon just fine. Good luck to all the moms!
You can also use use ice cube trays for purred foods and once frozen you can pop them out and store in a large ziplock! Portioned out and I know what I’m feeding my baby!
We make tons of homemade applesauce -a friend gives us apples from her trees. It’s really easy to make and all my kids love it. No sugar added, just cinnamon. I freeze at least 200 of these pouches each year. Perfect for my kids lunches!
Thanks Collin for this item my sons wife is expecting a little one and when I saw this I had to grab. Thanks again
I love this little set. I didn’t make my own baby food with my first child. This time I am doing it and it is so easy and the cost is great. Hope lots of other people enjoy it too!
