Does this also work for current Verizon customers that are due for an upgrade?

    • Marie S.

Yes! And don’t forget to see how much they will give you as a trade-in on your existing phone. 🙂

      • kathy

I was just there and got this phone at Target. I was eligible for an upgrade and this did not work. The associate and the signs are very clear that it is for new customers only. It had to be a new contract not just an upgrade, switch to the Edge or for any other Verizon customer. I did get the $50 gift card but the phone was not that price.

        • Ashley D

What was the price of your phone with the upgrade? I’ve been waiting on a good deal to upgrade mine.

        • diamondcat

I just bought mine and it is not for new customers only. I have been with Verizon for 25+ years and my contract just ran out a week or so ago. I bought two HTC M8’s, signed a new 2yr contract, the phones were $50 each, I got two $50 gift cards, used the 20% cartwheel and I should be getting $75 off my third bill.

Does anyone know the trade in value for an iPhone 4s?

    • Lizz

Verizon offered me $25. I kept mine and let the kids use it at home with our wifi

      • Kurkurru

        I got $55 at bestbuy
        (32gb)

    • Maddy

I had the iPhone 4s. We’re AT&T costumer. Last September when the new iPhone 6 came out, we upgraded I have 32gb and my Dh had 64gb iPhone 4s AT&T had a promotion back then (I don’t know if they still have this promotions) they gave us $200 for each phone. 🙂 we bought the iPhone 6 plus 128Gb for $299 each instead of $499!!!

    • Ali

I had the 16 MB 4S and verizon offered me $55. I said forget that, and sold it on CL for $150 in about 10 minutes.

  3. B

Does anyone know if you can trade in your old phone for credit?

    • Keri

      Yes

  4. Shell

Does anyone know where to buy an Iphone 5s without a plan ? My son just wants one to use as an Ipod.

    • Laurie

I would just get an iPod then

    • Lana

Get a Nokia Lumina 420 windows phone for about $40 on Amazon.

    • Lizz

      Lol!

    • Desi

The iPhone 5s without a plan is around $500 on straight talk prepaid service. A 5th generation iPod touch is around $300. It would be cheaper to just get him an iPod.

      • Melissa

we got a used, like new, ipod touch 16gb 4th gen on amazon for $100. great deal.

      • As

Got a iPhone 5s refurbished on straight talk 2 weeks ago $350

        • Lilly

Had you had any problems with ur phone since it’s refurbished?

  5. B

Do you guys like Verizon? We’ve been loyal ATT customers for about 10 years, and I really don’t have a desire to change since we’ve had no problems. We’re in the market for new IPhones and we’re currently out of contract.

    • MomC

I am a Verizon client for 2 yrs now and so far I don’t have any problems with them . They increased my data plan from 10GB to 15GB as a loyal client. The signal is very good coz I still have signal in Yosemite when my kids had their field trip there last year.

    • Laurie

I’ve had Verizon for many many years. I love them and their coverage along with their customer service.

    • Lana

You can switch to the AT&T no contract plan and save a ton of money until you upgrade phones.

      • Misty

Hi Lana, can you plz tell what plan you are talking about and how much would it cost? We are currently out of contract and still paying the plan money??

    • Amy

AT&T Next is the way to go when getting a new phone. Any contract plan on any carrier is costing you WAY TOO MUCH MONEY! You can upgrade to a brand new iPhone 6 with no money down and pay the same or less than you pay now monthly with a mobile share plan. Call and get the details…I promise you won’t be disappointed. When I realized how much I was over paying in a contract plan I was pretty upset.

    • Michelle W

We have Verizon for at least 8 years and have had great service. There has been many times when camping or hiking that we were the only ones with cell service. In fact, my husband climbed Mt Whitney and Verizon was the only service that worked which made me happy to talk to him after the long climb to 14,500 feet 😀

  6. C

I just bought an iPhone 6 last week with an upgrade and new 2 year contract. Does anyone know if they will price adjust my purchase and if I can get the free $50 giftcard too?

    • C

btw, the deal for iPhone 6 is $189.99 instead of $199.99 (which is what I paid) with a free $50 giftcard

  7. Pharmchick

This isn’t anywhere nearly enough space IMO lol.. I have a 16g phone5 right now and wish I had more space!

  8. Jen

Does anyone know if this includes the $150 carrier switch from another provider to verizon?

  9. alicia

You can call verizon corporate- i got mine the last time they had the deal and they cAn do more with customer service at verizon than a store

  10. eryn

Anyone know this verizon contract can be switched to an existing gov assisted program like reachout verizon?

  11. diamondcat

So what is considered a “New Contract”? I have been with Verizon for 25+ years and my contract ran out last month. So if I get the phone and sign up for another 2yr contract is that considered “new”. Or do you have to come from a different carrier to be considered new?

    • diamondcat

Actually I just read this on the Target page: Price requires New or eligible renewal 2-yr wireless voice agreement with qualifying data plan

  12. MNS

Just an FYI… I went to Target to do this deal last night. My store was giving the $50 gift card and then ANOTHER $50 gift card for being a Verizon customer. I was also able to use this with the 20% off on Cartwheel. Since this was such a great deal, we decided to go with the iPhone 6 (189.99, 20% off, $100 in gift cards = $51.88!!!!) My husband is ecstatic! 🙂

    • Linda

Hmmm, good to know! How much was the activation?

      • MNS

        $30. Standard.

Best Buy has a better deal. $1 for the phone and a $150 gift card to Best Buy. If you do in store pickup you get the gift card right then, if you ship it they will mail your gift card within 2 weeks. I got three phones (2 in store pick up and 1 shipped) and got a total of $450 in gift cards. It is how I was able to purchase Christmas gifts for my kids this year!!

    • diamondcat

You have to sign up for Verizon Edge to get the $150 gift card. I was just there today.

      • keliann

I did not sign up for Edge. I signed up for a new 2 year contract.

  14. Emily

If you price match this with the best buy price of $49.99 then do they still give a gift card? I haven’t ever price matched a giftcard deal. Thanks!
