On Amazon, the $14.99 DVD is Amazon Prime. I called my local Target and they said they would NOT price match Amazon items if the item is listed as an Amazon Prime item, since Prime members get special deals.

I signed out of my Prime account and I’m still seeing the $14.99 price for the Blu-ray/DVD combo… so I am pretty sure it’s for everyone. 🙂

      • Carla

Ok thanks! Also, I called Target and the
regular DVD (without Blu-Ray and digital copy) is priced at $9.99. With $5 Q, will be $4.99!

My target is refusing to price match during the “holiday” season. Never had a problem before…

    • Tricia

Boise Idaho target said the same thing too.

    • Margarita

Same thing happened to me in CT last year.

is there a way to use this coupon on target.com? I don’t have a printer 🙁 tia

  4. Tina

My target always give me trouble when I try to price match 🙁

  5. Becky

I went to customer service. They priced matched no problem. I was told last week they were not price matching during black friday/cyber week but would start again 12/2/14. Wilmington DE.

My target gave me a hard time about price matching & using a coupon. So i went to toys r us…used the coupon & price matched!

I don’t know is it’s still in store, but on Wednesday, I just bought this in store at Walmart and it was already priced $9.99, so $4.99 with coupon. Be aware though, there were a couple different DVD’s with different UPC numbers on back, so scan and do a price check! The ones I found for $9.99 had UPC #24543081906

That was the Black Friday batch with the word PROMO in front. The DVDs/Bluerays with Promo still ring up for Black Friday pricing. DVD was 7.96 and Bluray was 9.96.
I found a copy the morning after and used a coupon no problem. Even the cashiers thought it was an awesome deal.
I just hope Rio 2 goes cheap on Amazon to warrant a PM at Target or Best Buy.

      • Marcie

This was just a regular DVD. They did not have a promo sticker and were priced at $9.99. Would have loved to find the blu Ray one for the same price! Glad you found such a great deal!!!

Same here! My Target within the last month stopped price matching. Won’t take coupons with the Wal-Mart logo even though they are manufacture ones and sometimes won’t take coupons in general depending on who is the checker and how helpful they want to be. Major bummer.

    • Nicole

you should print out their coupon policy from their website because it states that they should take coupons with logos on it as long as its a manufacturers coupon

  10. Andrew

Best Buy also PMs Amazon. as to whether they will let you use a coupon too is YMMV.
They claim a coupon is “another offer” and not “payment”.
