Speaking of Target, I was wondering. If I am trying to get a small artificial tree, is it best to get it as soon as it’s marked down or is that not something everyone buys and I can wait on the mark downs to go up? I’m trying to get the 4-6 ft, pre lit with white lights.
They are/were recently cheaper at michaels
I got mine for 90% off last year. There were a bunch left on the first day of that markdown. It’s up now and absolutely gorgeous! Get the one with the attached lights, if possible. I paid $18.70 pre-tax. AMAZING deal! Good luck!

That’s sounds awesome! The size my boyfriend and I want is $67 originally, so I’m hoping to pay less than $20 for it since we’re getting our own place in January and won’t be able to put one up together this year.

My email this morning said I would receive 2 bonus stars on any dot collection
I got the email, but I didn’t get previous bonus stars for a holiday drink promo when I got it at target with my Starbucks card.
Usually bonus stars don’t appear the next day like regular stars do…they take a little longer
I didn’t get the bonus stars for the Christmas blend coffee promo and I emailed Starbucks about it. They were awesome, checked my purchase history, and credited the stars to my account!
I was told by a Target employee that usually Target Starbucks is not considered a “participating store” for these kinds of special bonuses.
That just seems silly to me especially since Target Starbucks stores are now able to redeem awards. I wish I knew that when i bought my drink Saturday to get extra stars. I would have just gone to another location 🙁
I emailed because I didn’t get addtl stars for a drink purchase from Target Starbucks. I wanted to know if the drink was eligible for the stars. They were kind enough to add the bonus stars to my account and sent me this email

I’m so sorry to hear you did receive your Bonus Stars for your Tall Peppermint Mocha purchase. Yes, the Bonus Star promotions are only available at the company owned locations. Some locations (including hotel, grocery, and casinos) are not controlled by Starbucks directly and so may be slightly delayed in incorporating the ability to process Rewards and Stars. However, we strive to deliver as consistent of an experience as possible to our customers and I apologize that wasn’t the case in this situation.
Please know that we are working hard to get all locations updated and capable of redeeming Starbucks rewards and have passed your feedback on to the store management team.

Starbucks may email MyStarbucksRewards promotions such as “bonus stars for ordering Oprah Chai” or “Get one breakfast sandwhich and get a second half off”. Those are examples of the one to one MSR offers. Target Starbucks are not honoring these MyStarbucksRewards special promotions.
I also purchased a holiday drink to take advantage of a 3 bonus stars promo a couple weeks ago at target but didn’t get any extra stars. I had to contact customer service, and they manually gave it to me 🙂
My email said that I would get 4 bonus stars, and my husband received 8 bonus stars

I’ve had this issue at a Safeway Starbucks too. I had a birthday promo and they couldn’t redeem it, however they honored the free food item still and then told me I could still use it at a real starbucks too! 🙂
My husband and I have gotten the Starbucks emails with different bonus stars listed. For instance, I got 3 bonus stars for the Sunday breakfast sandwich promotion and he got one bonus star.
My husband and I are also receiving different bonus star emails.
I did the hot cocoa bonus star promo on Saturday at a target starbucks cafe but did not get the extra bonus stars promised. If you want the bonus stars without hassle I think the stand alone starbucks are the best option. But it’s still a great deal for the mug at Target location…
I bought a loaf cake at my local Target Starbucks last week when I had the email showing I would receive 4 bonus stars with the purchase of a loaf cake. I never got the bonus stars so I emailed Starbucks Customer Service. They were happy to add them. Of note, my loaf cake purchase from a free standing Starbucks did result in 4 bonus stars automatically (and yes I bought two loaf cakes in one day… wanted 8 stars). 🙂 Hope this helps.
My email said two bonus stars as well. Seems that they are sending out higher star amounts to those that come in less often *grumble grumble*

I am interested in this deal for 8 stars, but didn’t get an e-mail. I am a Starbucks Rewards member, but does anyone anyone know if I have to have gotten an e-mail to receive the stars?
Usually, yes. You can check to see if you have the promotion in your rewards acct online, but it needs to be associated with your acct for it to work. I am a rewards member as well and visit Starbucks at least once a week and didn’t get this or last week’s email offers.
You had to sign up for the 12 days of bonus stars to get the email. It states in the email I received that it is only good for the person receiving the email and it an not be transferred.
My email was for only 2 stars 😣
My cashier at the target starbucks said that I could get both, but the bonus stars would take a while to appear in my rewards account… So now just waiting, but hoping that they will appear in the next day or so; If not, I plan on contacting starbucks and letting them know.
