Doesn’t ordering a build-a-bear online defeat the purpose? Or, do they send you the empty animal and you still go into the shop and build it once it’s shipped to you?

I was just thinking the same thing…the whole fun of build a bear is getting to stuff the animal, etc. There is a note on the product page stating that it can’t be purchased un-stuffed.
So basically it’s just a stuffed animal like you could get anywhere :/
You can specify that you be sent an un-stuffed bear so you can still have the build a bear experience in store.
These animal comes stuffed. There is no option to order them unstuffed.
You’re correct there is not an option however there is a box where you can write special instructions i.e. Stuff firm or loose or no stuffing at all. Hth

I like the idea of getting unstuffed ones sent!! I could buy some fluff from a craft store and get a few outfits an have a build a bear party at he house for my little ones BDay party!!
They used to offer an option to order unstuffed, I’m not seeing it now. A gift card might be a better option if you want a child to go into the store, though I don’t know that the codes would then work if you only order gift cards.

It says online that you can not order these “un-stuffed” ? I called and asked if I could request & she said that I could take them to the store & they would “unstuff” them there & let the kids stuff them. I’m not sure how well that will go over @ the store, but I’m gonna try it.

For those having trouble with the codes, I did the $10 code first and then did the “PAYPAL15”. The first time I tried it, it didn’t work. Then I tried it using all caps and it worked. HTH

I’ve only been to Build a Bear once and my daughter got a pony. Do these outfits work on all the stuffed animals or just the ones that sit upright?
The ponies have special capes and clothing. The shirts done fit well. We have several ponies and upright stuffed animals from there. Hth

I just thought I’d update w/ my order — It kept telling me that the code was invalid, but once I went to check out the discount was showing even though it never said it was valid. So go ahead and put codes in and choose PayPal to check out & when it comes back to confirm order the discounts should show!
I’m on the phone now with build a bear bc I showed $40 total in payal then when it put me over to build a bear where you click complete order it never showed a total there mobile and I clicked complete and just got a receipt showing $62!!!!!! So no discounts applied?!

So excited! Both codes worked for me! We use these outfits for our Disney Duffy bears. I was able to get the Maleficent outfit, the NY Giants Football outfit and the Spiderman outfit for $30.xx shipped! I have three girly girls but they love to dress up their Duffys in all sorts of outfits! Normally I would have to pay about $30 per outfit at the Disney store! They have tons of cute Disney outfits on here! I might have to go back and grab Woody or Cinderella as well. 😉 Thank you!!
