Anybody here tried using Victoria secret gift code on their colognes? Like the 3/25 or 5/30? How many gift code/s can I use per transaction? Thanks a lot.

    • Denise

Hi – Yes, I’ve used the VS angel gift card for my purchase online. You’d be better off if there is a store nearby then have to pay shipping charges. I know you can only use one of those cards per transaction.

    • betty

if you buy through them. there’s insurance included in the shipping. For the $15 they donate $3 for an Unite charity.

I thought lose weight/stay fit relies on a lifestyle change, not so much on evaluation of duration/calories. Does anyone help these gadgets helpful or are they just hype?

    • Heather

I’m curious if anyone has used the sleep function & if it does anything more than tell you if when you are awake or asleep.

      • Lisa

        Heather,

I don’t have this particular activity tracker, as I currently have the Fitbit. I know this might be an applicable for this particular activity tracker that is being advertised, however I’m assuming most of the functions on these are similar. The way the Fitbit sleep function works is that it tracks your movement which means that if you have any pets or someone else sleeping in a bed with you, it isn’t as accurate.however I will say that the information it provides me with is very interesting. It shows when I’m awake throughout the night and for how long, for example. I can definitely tell from the data whether I’ve gone into REM sleep or not.

        • Heather

Thank you Lisa. For $15, I think I’ll give this a try!

I have a Fitbit Charge and while you are correct about lifestyle change (being fit and losing weight has been around since before the dawn of electronics) I love my Fitbit Charge. It inspires me to be held accountable. I am diligent about imputing what I eat and how much. It takes “mindless eating/snacking” off the table for me. Also, since it tracks calories burned, I have a better idea of what I can actually eat at any given point of the day. I have my Fitbit set to keep my caloric intake 500 calories under my projected average daily burn and if I don’t look like I’ll hit my projected, my Fitbit knows because the information is updated constantly.
There’s many other great little tools and uses that I haven’t accessed yet from my Fitbit, but I’ll get to them eventually. Right now my goal is to drop some weight and then increase my aerobic exercise.
One of the best things, my weight loss goal is always constantly a positive for me because when I hit my calorie burn goal each day, my Fitbit Charge vibrates to let me know. I do my own little private happy dance and look forward to doing it again tomorrow.
It’s nice to have a steady positive reinforcement. Even if it’s as tiny as vibrate.

Thanks that’s very helpful info. I think I’ll get one. 🙂

      • Shanshan

Do you also need to subscribe to something in order to use the Fitbit?

        • ~jenn~

No you do not. I have a download from the Fitbit site on my laptop and the app downloaded on my iPhone 6. There is no monthly fee. I will mention here that Fitbit has a projected new product release in early 2015. It’s a unit that does a constant heart rate monitor.
Another thing I like about my Charge is, not only is it a watch with programmable alarms, but it also has caller ID. I like it because of my work and my guy sleeping during the day. My phone is almost always on silent. Now my Fitbit will vibrate once, I look at the screen and a name goes scrolling across. Good for driving or exercising too!

I wondered if they were still sending out the reward cards when you place and order are is that already over?

  4. Stevmon

Anyone know if this similar to the FitBIt?
    TIA

    • Candy

This looks very similar to the current fitbit, but fitbit is releasing a new product the beginning of January (currently on the website) that includes a heart rate monitor. But for $15 it might be worth a try.

      • Stevmon

        Thanks Candy,

I was really considering something like this for my Sister.

I am wondering if you can also input your food for calorie intake…

    • Jessica

I’ve read that option isn’t available.

  6. Nikki

I am very tempted to try this. I really want a fit bit but for $15 this might be a good alternative. Seems almost too good to be true😄😄

  7. Jody

Anyone know how much the subscription is next year? Is the “complimentary device” $12 or is the renewal subscription $12.00

    • A

      $12 every year

I just ordered two and my e-mail confirmation states estimated delivery January 30th 2015. I chatted with Amazon and here is what they said: “Elizabeth, the item is going to be released on that day, however it still has to go to the fulfillment center, once it is in the fulfillment center it will be shipped to you in 2 days”.

    • G

I got the same delivery date. That’s super annoying because per Pivotal’s website “If you’d like your band before December 25, jump on over to Amazon.com – but hurry, quantities are limited!” (December 11-21)”

      • Melissa

I think Amazon is just trying to cover their behinds, especially right before Christmas . The elves at Amazon are working like crazy to get the orders processed. The elves at UPS are doing the same. Neither Amazon, nor UPS or the postal service have total control of the process. They don’t want anyone to be disappointed, but it happens. I ordered one, but decided to take the non-rush option which gave me $1 for music, etc downloads. If it is not going to get shipped until the 20th and has a good chance of getting here late, at least I get the bonus.

    • Jenny

I got a February ship date last night when I ordered, but then this morning they sent me an updated shipment date of dec 26-29. So hopefully you get that too.

    • Elizabeth

Got an update email with a new delivery date of 12-24-14.

  9. A

It’s $12 if you order directly through their website

    • Melissa

But under the FAQ the shipping is $3, so it is the same price as Amazon.

  10. Lavinia

My shipping was just updated to December 24. Just got an email.

    • Jcooper5183@gmail.com

Lavinia, When did you order it?

  11. 3bettins

It says it’s $95 now- am I looking at the right thing?
