Shipping is super slow. It took over two weeks and I ordered in november. Don’t count on getting it for Christmas! (but what I got, was cute!)

Maybe it depends on where you are. Mine took less than a week, and that included a weekend.

I’ve seen those Infectious Disease Balls at my local Dollar Tree!
My kids beg for a candy cane every single day after breakfast. Drives me crazy. I am soooo tempted to get those sriracha candy canes and play a little trick on them….hehe.
I bought a t-shirt from them recently as a gift (good quality!) and it arrived in 3 business days with standard shipping. I wouldn’t be worried about it not showing up in time for Christmas if you are in the continental US.
I also received my order very quickly. Less than 5 days from when I ordered, and that was just a couple days ago.
I love EVERYTHING we got from a large ThinkGeek order recently – exCEPT the Infectious Disease Balls. I ordered 3, one for each of my kids, and I gave them to them as part of our month-long Christmas that we do… Anyway, one was broken out of the box, and I had to talk to the ThinkGeek chat help to get a replacement (which still hasn’t arrived over a week later). Another one just broke a day or two ago, and I no longer even want to replace them. And my kids are NOT little. Save your $, IMHO.

Disagree on the heat changing mugs. Not dishwasher safe or usable in the microwave. Plus they are very small.

They cancelled my order last time for fireplace mugs. I see they have them in stock now. Not cool. 🙁
I can’t comment as to your perception of their size, but as far as being unusable in the dishwasher or microwave, that would ruin the heat-changing properties of the mug. The description of the item states that they are not to be used there. It’s not the site’s fault if you didn’t read it.
The email I got from them this morning says “Order today and get it by Christmas” so it should get here in time!

I agree about the infectious disease balls. They are cool until they break, which doesn’t take long.
I ordered last night. They had the periodic beer pint glasses on sale for $3.99 and when I put two in my cart, it said buy one, get one half off so they ended up being $3 each.

I placed an order for myself at the same time I placed an order for my sister. She’s already rcvd hers but mine is somewhere floating in the world.
I called Thinkgeek yesterday for an update & was on hold for 3 hours! Thank goodness for the speaker feature because I made dinner, washed the dishes & wrote a report all while on hold. Then when I finally did get a rep, I was told to call the p.o. to find out where my package. That’s not my responsibility as much as it is theirs & they were told not only am I not going to chase my package, I’m going to dispute the charge with my bank if it’s not here by the 24th. That really gets under my skin when you pay for an item knowing it’s the sellers responsibility to ensure it gets to you & they try passing their responsibility off to the customer. That doesn’t jive with me.
I agree with you. They have HORRIBLE customer service. They didn’t “process” my cyber Monday order – even though I entered payment info, submitted, and received an order number. They said I’d have to reorder at the current price…double the cost. The customer service rep could see my order on their system. The stuff is cute but I’m not reordering at a higher price.
The kinectic mass sand is awesome for kids! I even have fun playing with it 🙂 Very cool…no mess…and endless entertainment!
These Build on Brick glasses are only $4.99 for the set of 4, normally $19.99! My kids will have no idea they are shot glasses. They’ll just think it’s cool they have a cup they can build on with their Legos and drink milk out of lol!

I ordered a shirt from their website on the 5th of December, they shipped it on the 10th and I just got it on the 15th. I was so excited when I got the box! But I opened it up and inside was a nerf gun, and the package was damaged and bent. I tried calling twice and waited 20 minutes each time. Tried using their live chat on the website, but they said I was 99th in line and wait time would be about 55 minutes. I found some reviews with other people having issues as well. I have no idea how they messed up my order cause I only ordered one thing. And when I checked their website, it said the shirt was out of stock. You might want to buy at your own risk. Super bummed, not to mention irritated!

I placed an order on 12/1 and it sent me a tracking email 12/7. I check daily and it still says just label created. Now I’m wondering if it will ever come. Butterfly in a jar. They are so cool. I’ve emailed cs with no reply.
Same here! They said the order was lost and mine was out of stock 🙁 so mad my dd would have loved a new robe!
They always end up canceling my order. I have given up.
Took forever to process my order, only 3 of the 4 items came. UPS never got the 2nd package. Finally got thru to CS after 2 hours on speaker! They refunded the price of the purchase! Nothing refunded for shipping or tax? Emailed again-hope to hear something! They have sent 2
$10 gc’s for my trouble but I’m not dealing with them till after the holidays!
I think ymmv which sucks since this is a pretty well known site. I placed one order for cyber Monday and another a week or two ago and got my shipments with no problem and none of the products were damaged.
