Military: FREE Snow & Ice Removal Services
Do you have loved one currently deployed in the armed forces or do you know someone who does?! If so, take note of this offer for FREE snow and ice removal! The Project EverGreen’s SnowCare for Troops Program is a nationwide outreach program that connects local contractor and citizen volunteers with men and women serving our country in the armed forces away from home.
To find a volunteer, simply complete the registration form and submit to Project EverGreen. All information asked of you is kept confidential and is for record keeping purposes only. If a volunteer is found in your area, you’ll be notified first and given the contact information of the volunteer.

Does anyone know of lawn services for a retired, disabled veteran? We live in Miami – no snow and ice, but my husband had brain surgery nearly a year ago (right after retiring from 20 years in the Navy), and our lawn looks awful. I have tried, but… could definitely use a similar service. Thanks!
Project Evergreen also offers lawn services if available in your area. My hubby is deployed & thru them I found someone to cut my grass, since I’m not physically able to. I’m not sure if it’s available to veterans as well but it should be! Thanks to your husband for his service & good luck!

Could I do this for my sister in law that lives in idaho as I live I in cali. My brother is deployed and I bet she needs help with the crazy snow out there.

Used to be stationed somewhere this would have made a world of difference in this southern girl’s life. Will let my friends who are still there know.
Soldier husband hospitalized at walter reed for ling term. We live in NJ area. Thus would be helpful when we have large snow fall.
I guess they offer a lawn care service as well Valle green care for troops-will be looking into this as well!

This is great! I wish I had this help last winter when my husband was deployed and I was pregnant. Shoveling out my car to go to work sucked. Thankfully he’s home now.
