Just so you know, Walgreens is not honoring their website perfume prices from when they were having their 20% off sale. Four days after I ordered, they canceled the order claiming items were out of stock, except it’s not true. Looks like they were selling things at prices that were too low, so they canceled orders then raised the prices. Customer service is doing nothing, saying they have disclaimers in place to not honor pricing. Except they waited four days, then lied about the reason for the cancellation. Won’t do business with them again, and going to file a BBB complaint. Would love to start a class action suit, since I’m sure a lot of people missed out on Christmas gifts because of this.
Hi, Sherry. I was afraid that my order would get cancelled too, but was pleasantly surprised when I received a shipping confirmation. I received my two perfumes on Tuesday. I never shop at Walgreens due to their super, unfriendly coupon ways and rude employees, but decided to take a chance. Sorry that things didn’t work out as well for you!
Hi Sherry, this also happened to me. After speaking to customer service, \they guaranteed the item for Christmas and just refunded me today! A little too late and I wasn’t able to get a replacement by Christmas! A little ridiculous as i ordered on black Friday!
Sherry, this is not the first time Walgreens has done shady things. A year (or two) ago they were charged with falsely claiming thousands and thousands of register rewards from manufacturers (for items they never sold). Walgreens is a place I stopped shopping about a year or two ago. So super-unfriendly coupon practices. I agree with Brooke. And yes, good luck if you decide to file that complaint. I’ve complained about other practices as well and once it hits a certain level, they backtrack and say they have to communicate better with the stores. I can’t say enough about how much I hate that store.

Really class action law suit over perfume?? Seems a little bit like that would be a huge waste of time, not to mention that it ties up courts for something stupid.
I don’t think the perfume is the point of the class action suit. I’m pretty sure the point of the class action suit would be false advertising and refusal to uphold their end of the contract. Advertising a product at a particular price, accurate or not, means they have to honor it. If you open the door for retailers to not have to honor contractual prices, what happens the next time you walk into a car dealership and purchase a car for a specified price. And then they don’t honor it? It’s a snowball. And when you look at the number of people who aren’t getting that price, your not taking about $10. You’re now talking about 5000 (or however many) at $10…
That happened to me at target a couple of weeks ago. There was a price tag error on the single metamucil health bars, for $1.49 buy 2 get a five dollar gift card. As hard to believe as it is, I took a picture from one store, took it to another store that I usually know to be coupon un friendly with rude employees that make up rules, and they refused to honor it. The funny thing is that it was even in the target app. The other target in my area is very friendly, and they are not rude, in fact they are polite and are always thrilled to see how much I save. Anyway, I think I might file a complaint with the BBB about this too. Thanks for the idea. I have a screen shot. That being said, if there are multiple stores in your area, go to the one with the nice and coupon friendly employees. I agree that it’s not about the product. It is about not honoring the price, and not keeping up their end of the bargain as a store honoring what is put out by corporate. Thanks!

Cause of the 50% off holiday sale I was able to find the Starbucks holiday blend for $5 with the 50% ogf. Which made them $3 after the coupon 🙂 thy were 10 oz too so really happy. Also the ferrero chocolates were ringing up $3 with the half off and used a $1 coupon to get them for $2. I was really happy. These will be late gifts for my bosses since my think geek heat change mugs arrived late before they went on vacation :/

I thought Walgreens won’t accept a coupon that is higher than the purchase price as in your Rimmel nail scenario.
Hi Evelyn, Walgreens registers are coded like this: If an item rings up $0.99 and you try and use a $1/1 coupon it will beep. But as long as the total product is more than the amount of the coupons it will not beep. As in the Rimmel scenario since the total is $2.68, you should have no issues using two $1/1 coupons. even though the second item is less than one dollar. I hope that helps.

For the Lysol coupon, my computer only let me print one. In your scenario, it says to use 4 coupons and 2 computers. Anyone able to print 2 per computer of this coupon?
