We took family out to Cheddar’s yesterday for late Christmas. We bought $50 gift card to give to those we were taking out to dinner for Christmas present and received two $5 gift cards to use at a later date. AFTER we got home, I was like WHY didn’t I buy $150 worth of gift cards to pay for dinner AND gift and receive $30 worth of gift cards for later use. I could have smacked myself… Lost out on a free $20! Lol

Fran, I spent the $100 right then and there for dinner instead of buying the gift cards to PAY for dinner AND gift. I got an extra $10 for the gift, but not an extra $20 in gift cards for the dinner. Dumb me! Lol

Today my husband and I bought 3, earning enough freebies for a nearly-free meal, plus I used one gift card to buy our breakfast today. Also S&S has great coupons in the Sunday papers, and you can use as many on one ticket as you like. (For example, today we used 1) Free Soda, 2) $4.99 Patty Melt, Fries, & Side, 3) $1 off Skillet, and 4) something for a bfast biscuit? Free? 99cents?) Anyway, we got a cheap bfast, and the manager let me use the rest of the $20 gc towards the tip.

Not a restaurant card, but check your American Express for a $5 back on $15 purchase on Walmart .com expires 12/30, can be used to purchase a gift card (cannot reload a gc or buy prepaid gc), or can choose in store pickup for items.
OT…I am craving some butter toffee popcorn without nuts if possible…If anyone sees some on clearance please let me know…it is expensive so I do not treat myself to it…Hoping someone will find an after Christmas deal.
