Also, I was browsing the comments on a few of the previous Target posts and thought I would mention below some of the comments left regarding clearance bargains readers have scored:

Sarakate25 Stated: So the Sandusky ohio store went 70-90%! I found the striped long john pj ($1.04) Elf on a Shelf pj ($1.49) and an Elf 2 piece pj ($1.49)! Minion Christmas t’s. ($0.90), ladies Frozen fleece pj bottoms ($1.50).

Suzy Stated: At my Target in Ohio they had all their Christmas clearance down to 90%!!! I got so much great stuff, probably the best clearance shopping I’ve ever done! 🙂 Polar Express gift sets for $3.29, LED lights for $1.19, LED trees for $10, Elf on the shelf for $2.99, tons of stocking stuffer stuff for 29 cents and up, cute kids plate and mug sets for $1.99, Transformer glass sets for $1.99, Paw patrol look-a-likes game for 49 cents, Cookie jar (red with the word Cookies on it) for $1.99, wristlet purses for $1.50 and the list goes on. I couldn’t believe how much they still had left. I found looks of clothes too and several items weren’t with the Christmas and were found throughout the store, so make sure to scan!

Jara Stated: I went to Target last night and mine had select video games for half off. I got Fable 3 for $7.50 and I found holiday pet costumes for $3. This is a great deal for dog owners of larger breeds, I was able to find several in XL.

Look in regular tape aisle for single purple scotch gift wrap..is 20 cents a roll..scotch pop up is 40 cents..also found girls pajamas for 1.69 in regular section

    • Rachel

I was so happy to find the tape. They still had it on the shelf at the $4.00 price in another spot but it rang up at the 40 cent price.

    • Molly

They had tons left at my store so I stocked up big time!!

    • Erin

Thanks for the tip on the tape. I found 1 pop up tape at my store for .40 in the regular isle 🙂

  2. Alea

Wow! My stores pretty much were empty (one endcap) at 50% off.

    • Brittany

Same here 🙁 Wish people would wait for further drops in price before wiping the store out at 50%.

  3. Rachel

I just left 2 of my Targets and spent $16.98 on $140 worth of goodies! T favourite find– star stocking holders for $1.00! I was able to get 8 for our family of 8.

  4. Amber

Is anyone else having trouble with the coupon site? Both hip2save’s coupon site and coupons.com tell me something went wrong. I’m wondering if the changes that were made to my settings are preventing it from loading completely.

    • amy

      Mine isn’t working either

    • Robyn

Nope. It’s for everyone it appears. I can’t access and neither can a bunch of people who are posting on their Facebook page. What a horrible day for it to go down.

      • Amber

Thanks. At least I can quit trying to change my settings to make it work. I’ll just wait it out. 🙂

    • Denise s

We have been having issues with our computer last night and today..yahoo was done most of yesterday

    • TracyS

hip2save’s link is still down, but coupons.com is working

  5. D

Wow! My store in VA was totally cleared out, one tiny section of broken stuff and that was only 50% to boot!

    • Erin

Yup. Richmond, Va. stores are wiped out. I got a can of icing with a broken lid for .80. 😉 I had hoped for some of those tinsel trees in the post, but I think the preChristmas cartwheel for them got people shopping early. Walmart was better. Only 75% off, but tons of nonseasonal type gift items I will give to my little girl throughout the year.

    • Kat

My store was bare bones. Nothing but junk left.

  6. kat

Can you get a price adjustment from 75% off to 90% off?

    • Angela

      Not on seasonal

    • Erin

Nope. I’ve even had trouble returning seasonal stuff, though it may depend on the store.

    • Jess

No, Target won’t price adjust for clearance items.

  7. Sarah D.

My store had nothing but junk left in the Christmas aisle but tons of stuff left in the regular aisles. Found pink and silver contact cases for .50, small silver and gold pouches for .50, cross body purses for $1, and wristlet wallets in black, silver, gold and blue sparkle for $1.50, all in the women’s accessories section. Paw Patrol games for .50. Men’s boxers for .49 – 1.19 depending on style. Clothes in men’s, boys and baby/toddler sections. Olaf boys hat for .99. Have fun hunting!

    • Erin

Thanks for the tip on the wallet and purse. I found them at my store in the regular section!

  8. Mim

I went this morning to the Viera Target in Florida. Scored lot of great deals at 90%. :). Got plaid 2 piece pajama sets for $1.49, stockings and puzzles for the kids to color at $.50 each for my classroom, wrapping paper for $.25, interactive Rudoloh hat for $.69, cookie boxes for $.50, Christmas blend kcups for $3.89. They had a lot of food items for 70% off. Got quite a few canisters of Archer Farms s’mores, chipzelpop, choc/pb squares for $1.49 per canister. They make great gifts for Easter baskets!!! 🙂

    • Laney

That’s my Target! Will have to check it out.

  9. courtney

The Christmas Story set of four glasses and Transformer glasses were reg. 19.99 and rang up 1.99 they weren’t by the Christmas stuff they were by the cookware on an end cap.

  10. Denise s

I have been scanning Xmas DVDs they are not marked done..anyone else finding this?

    • Tara

I didn’t have any luck either. I gave a friend that works at target and she said they send the books and movies back. I did get a Charlie Brown Xmas book in the toy section for $1.09. I has buttons you push on top. But all the other books I scanned were regular price

  11. Brie

iPhone 6 cases for 50 cents too!

  12. Kim

My store in macomb, mi didn’t have much left this morning. Mostly candy was left- no wrapping paper or bags. Last year there was a lot left at 90%. Left the store without purchasing anything which was a total bummer!!!!! I even looked for the “hidden” deals but couldn’t find anything .

    • Linda

I live in Macomb too! I went to 26 Mile and there were some bags but only wrapping paper that was open. I found some stuff. Did you go to Hall & Heydenreich?

  13. Carrie

Off topic, but anyone know what Hobby Lobby’s Christmas section will be reduced to tomorrow? It was 80% off last week, and I am wondering if they will go to 90%.

  14. April

Does anyone know when walgreens will go to 90% too?

    • DianeNC

I doubt they will – just stopped by my local Walgreen’s today, and they were still only at 50% for candy and 70% for other stuff (wrapping paper, etc.). Rite Aid went to 75% off today, and I scored big time.

    • Margaret D

My walgreens was at 90 today. I got an overflowing cart load for $20… I got a to. Of Charlie Brown Christmas trees, Mickey Mouse tumbler sets, dinnerware sets, light up cups. It was like hitting the jackpot!

      • Patty

Where are you? I’m in Charleston, SC and stopped last night and they were still at 50% and 70% respectively.

  15. Guest-C

Anyone know if starbucks in target have seasonal tumblers/cups/mugs for 90%? Thanks in advance 🙂

    • Mrs. Waller

Mine did, but they sold out rather quickly.

      • Guest-C

Okay, thanks for the heads up.

  16. Rachel

Look for 2pk of bronze and gold sharpies. They were only 29c!!

    • Fern

They also have silver in the 2pk. .29

    • Erin

Thanks for the tip. I found one of the two packs of gold sharpies at my store!

  17. Johanna

I wish I had know this last night, I went to three Targets to get 75% off items. I would have waited until today.

    • Erin

Always wait for 90%. Think what awesome clearance there would be if everyone did. 😉

      • DianeNC

I don’t think most people know that Target goes to 90% off, so they pretty much wipe everything out when they see things hit 70% off. (And once that happens, there’s usually not much left to get marked down to 90% off – they’ve already switched the Christmas department in my local Target over to something else there was so little left.)

  18. Candi

i was able to get Oreo’s for .89, Reese pieces for .30, ornaments for .60, wrapping paper .50, gift bags .25, pj’s 1.69, minion t-shirts 1.29, star light up topper $2, holiday co plate chips and mint chocolate chips .89 each!!! All in Louisville great buys as the Indiama store was slim pickings! Good luck! Wish they had elf on shelf.

  19. LeeAnna

The Starbucks k-cups 16 count holiday blend (and holiday blond) were $3.89 at the Nampa Idaho Target. Not marked and lots left on an end-cap.

    • Amanda

Yep, I got some this morning! The Archer Farms Christmas Blend was $3.29 for 18 too!

  20. Danielle Lynn

I was able to get 5 Polar Express DVD/Book sets for $3.29 a piece. Saved 150$ on those. These will be awesome gifts for next Christmas. I got some clear plates for 59 cents also. The minion t shirt that can be worn anytime 🙂

  21. Tara

I went to 3 stores in NJ today and got all but 2 things I have been watching. Scored lots of gift wrapping items, a pack of red tinsel trees, some ornaments, and a lot of food. I’m glad I waited until 90. The only things I couldn’t find were the Xmas fruit snacks and I wanted a pack of the stocking hanging hooks.

  22. Jennifer

Thanks for sharing all these delightful finds. Am hoping to still be able to find some hidden gems tomorrow.

  23. rosana

My store had less thing this year than last year no wrapping paper at all. Last year they had boxes of paper. And not much left.

    • Trinity

Ditto. I have no idea what happened to all the wrapping paper! Maybe people bought them all at 70%. At 70% last week, there were plenty. *sigh

  24. vanessa

where did all the regular white boxes go? there were a ton and now at 90% none and this was three different stores. anyway anyone know if you are able to return stuff you bought at 70% off? i dont mean return and rebuy i mean just return.

  25. Trinity

I stopped by 2 of my Targets today and everything was pretty much gone as well. Most things were gone by the time 70%/50% food rolled around. I think it was about 2 or 3 years ago that I scored SO many things at 90% off. These past few years, I have not seen as much. There actually wasn’t even any wrapping papers nor bows at all. Seriously, what the heck?!! 🙁 I know, I know…ya win some, ya lose some! Happy shopping everyone. Cheers to a great 2015!

    • Erin

There is a BIG audience for these posts, especially clearance posts, and Hip2savers are super generous about reporting their finds to Collin. I know which Targets around me are “Hip2Save” Targets. :/

  26. Kelly

Anyone been to the Nora/Michigan Road Targets in Indiana?? Wondering if it’s worth a trip tomorrow!?!?

  27. Toby

Target in Baltimore, MD. Was able to get Starbucks Holiday Blend and Starbucks Via on sale. Also Brookside Dark Chocolate on sale for $1.19. Christmas cards and Holiday envelopes 0.25 and 0.30, Godiva 8 piece assorted Milk Chocolate for $2.99. Shelves are pretty much emptied out. Thanks Colin.

  28. Kaitlin

My mother has been eyeing the 10.5′ Douglas fir tree this year after 20+ years with our current tree. They were dissapearing from all the surrounding stores as the sales increased, but then this morning, I called the Target in the next town over and they had it at 90% off! We might have used every country road shortcut we knew to get there in time. Saving $480 on a tree that will hopefully last us another 20 years was an awesome feeling.

  29. sk

3 targets later I barely found any of the the ‘hidden’ stuff. I guess they were not really hidden in these stores. Barely found any thing, stores wiped clean at 50% …. oh well it is just clearance shopping after all, not the end of the world 😉

  30. ana

    Anything in Oregon?

  31. me2

In NC~ I found the pop up tape, the 60 count snowflake paper plates, mam pacifiers, Rudolph books and small stuffies, Charlie brown hardback books, chapstick, mens boxers gift set in a glass, socks, Kleenex boxed paper towels, tons of wrapping paper, tags, ornaments and bows and much much more for 90% off. Someone had the big bucket of kitty litter in her cart and another lady swiped all the target holiday diapers and wipes. I was able to score some m&m’s, chex mix and starbucks coffee and when paired with a coupon almost free!
** I am hearing that some stores had more holiday stuff in the backroom and are just now bringing it out**

  32. Kim

My target was at 90 0/0 off and 70 0/0 on candy! I hot gift bags for 15 c each and a 2 pak if gift bags for 15c! Lots of glade product 2.08 but had good coupons and cartwheel, along with mrs meyers and carrwheel!
