    • brandice

It comes and goes so just stay tuned to Collin page

  3. Ivana

With all these great deals I stocked up on items for next year. I’m planning a “frozen” Christmas. Bought clear ornament and I’m going to paint on them. Also a bunch of cool items

  4. Maggie

Anyone know if Joann’s is at 90%? Wish I lived near Hobby Lobby!

    • annie

I am in Minneapolis and they didn’t have any Christmas left except: Christmas storage 50%, Christmas food decorating 50%. Was a real let down.

      • Maggie

        Bummer,thanks for responding.

  5. Jennifer

Love it when stores go to 90% off. I have never made it to Hobby Lobby’s before, but maybe I will have a chance tomorrow.

  6. Heather

I love Hobby Lobby 90% off! I completely scored! I was there when they opened and bought the cutest stuff. ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Alyssa

My hobby lobby in Colorado only had 2 aisles of Christmas stuff left, but I still scored! Got a tree skirt, metal nativity stable, a Noel sign, and everything to make a mesh ribbon wreath for $16

  8. Haley

I must say I love a great sale but think it’s important to keep in mind where we spend (even a little) money. I used to love this store until I learned of their unethical approach to health care for employees. Just a reminder, make sure you’re shopping places that you truly support and want in your community ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Heather

Let’s keep this about deals, because we all do not agree on the rest. ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • Susan C.

        Very nicely stated!

      • rosana

        Agreed ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Cathrine

Couldn’t disagree with you more Haley. I’ll shop there any day over other stores because I share their values. Make the choice for yourself. Don’t “remind” us as though we need to put our big kid pants on.

      • Guest

        Same here!!

    • Busy Mama

I totally support Hobby Lobby, and will gladly shop there because I want them in my community.

They have not done anything unethical in regards to health care for their employees. The issue was with women’s reproductive health and contraception; they willingly provided birth control for their employees, but not any abortion measures which go against their personal convictions. Hobby Lobby employees are not denied reproductive health solutions, and with the Supreme Court ruling Hobby Lobby is not required to provide health care which violates their religious convictions.

The beauty of the situation is that people are aware of the decision, and women who would like access to other reproductive solutions (such as abortions) are able to seek employment elsewhere. No woman is forced to work for Hobby Lobby, and Hobby Lobby is not forced to provide health care which violates their long-held convictions.

The hub-bub with Hobby Lobby was about how they invested their 401K plan

According to Mother Jones, as of December 2012 Hobby Lobby’s 401(k) employee retirement plan had $73 million invested in various mutual funds that included manufacturers of various forms of contraceptives.

    • Courtney

Thanks for the reminder. I don’t think it s rudely stated. Everyone is entitled to their own views, and it’s an adult thing to be able to discuss our views in a healthy way.

    • edmccray

Yeah, it’s so unethical to support the lives of innocent babies in their mother’s wombs!

  9. Melanie Freeberg

Hobby Lobby is anti LGBT and anti choice, they will never get a penny of my money. I love a good deal but I refuse to shop there.

    • Sonya

Wow when did a good deal become a place to start with big issues…it randomly becomes this huge thing from time to time at random stores and it’s honestly just dumb. I’m sure many other store CEOs,owners, managers, etc that are not on the same page with our beliefs,we just don’t know,so why make this one exception?! They as everyone can have different opinions, just because you shop there doesn’t mean you support their views.

      • Melanie Freeberg

Because as a consumer that’s my right. I won’t shop at WalMart either.

        • Erin

Sure, that’s your right, just like what they do with their own money is their right. As bad as you feel about their actions due to your perception of them being anti-homosexual, imagine how bad they feel about abortion when they believe it is murder. You are both protected by law to act according to your convictions. You are not forced to support things you believe to be anti-LGBT, and they are not forced to support things they believe to be murder. Seems fair to me.

          • Kate

            Great point! Couldn’t agree more!

    • Suzanne

I agree with you Melanie and Haley from above!

People, this is a blog (from the word weblog) a living, breathing social media venue where people talk about all kinds of topics. That’s why HIP2SAVE is a great community b/c we talk about multiple topics that all connect to shopping and saving. We take all of the information in and then are able to make better informed choices. Remember the phrase, “to each his own” and we’ll all be happier.

    • Guest

That’s one reason I support them. We all have different opinions..but just because you don’t agree doesn’t make them a bad company

      • Kate

        Exactly! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Heidi Hughes

      More deals for me then!๐Ÿ˜Š

      • Melanie Garcia

seriously Heidi? you are posting a nasty comment to a thread from January?

    • edmccray

      Your loss!

  10. Sarah

Last year, they had the transparent scotch tape on clearance at my store because it was considered a wrapping item. Definitely something to keep your eyes open for.

    • Dr

Bought 2 4 packs… I think I should have gotten more… 3 big rolls of beautiful wrapping paper…one of them useful no matter when or who… All for $7.50 good deal. I went when it was 80% this past Sat.

      • Angela

Their wrapping paper is my favorite! It’s thicker than other paper I’ve used, and there’s a ton of paper on a roll.

  11. Judy Trac

    No HL here

  12. ee

I refuse to shop there because a good half of what I want to buy doesn’t have a price on it and the lines are AWFUL. Update your archaic system HL!

On a side note, I’m free to not work at a place that doesn’t support my needs. They should be free not to support something they don’t believe in. America and freedom are one…or atleast, they should be. I figure the vegan grocery store I frequent shouldn’t be forced to sell beef just because that’s what TX wants. The store that even closes on Sundays shouldn’t be forced to provide things they don’t believe in, even if I do think they’re extremely silly for not doing so.

  13. Lauren

People really need to stay on track. This isn’t the place for these comments. Go elsewhere! We’re talking about 90% off not health care!

  14. Keosha

Thank you s much for posting this deal. I was at Target for hours looking for hidden clearance when I checked this website while in line. When I saw Hobby Lobby was 90% I nearly jumped out of my skin. It was 8:30pm so I had 30 minutes to shop. When I got there I saw a few items nothing to write home about. While I was checking out I told the cashier I saw some Christmas trees but they were marked 80%. He said they are 90%. By this time the store was closed but the Manager was nice enough to let me go back and look at a few trees. The box stated the lights didn’t work but they did. I was able to get a 7 1/2 foot tree for $42.08 after tax (regular price $399). I am SOOOO EXCITED. Last year (2014) we had a corner tree I purchased from Walmart the year before. It definitely wasn’t a WOW factor. I can’t wait until this Christmas to put up my new tree. It’s BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! Sorry for the long post I’m just EXCITED!!!!

  15. Sarah

I went last week when it was 80%off – got some stockings for 80cents each and the rudolf car costume (!!!) for $4.99 orig. $20! Excited to haul that out and decorate my car next Christmas !!

  16. sue wiegmann

does anyone know when hobby Lobby will be having their 90% off Christmas decor? I am a crafter just starting a business and it sure would help with those kind of savings. If anyone knows please respond to this message. Thank you and may you all have a healthy, wealthy blessed New Year in 2019.

  17. Johnathan Murello

Itโ€™s onerous to search out knowledgeable people on this topic, but you sound like you realize what youโ€™re talking about! Thanks
