Looking at the photo, I have a question: does anyone send these cheeses in a lunch bag like that? I use a regular insulated Land’s End lunch bag for my kids but I never send cheese since I am afraid it will get warm (or at least warmer than when I put it in there) and warm cheese, when it has been cold, kind of creeps me out. I can’t imaging sending a cheese stick in just a paper bag. I am not a cheese eater but my kids love this kind of cheese. I just give it to them at home. Do other people do this?

The only time I have to send a brown bag lunch, is for field trips. And I do send them with cheese sticks. I just asked my oldest and he says he prefers the cheese room temp. I like it room temp as well. I usually let a stick sit out for a while before eating.

I take cheese sticks to work all the time or in the purse with me. If at the end of the day I don’t eat them, I stick them in the fridge. has been doing this forever, never any problems with the cheese going bad or tasting funny.

I put an ice break in my kids’s lunch bag and put the cheese on top of it. I also pack yogurt for my kids that way too.

I pack cheese and other things for my son’s lunch all the time. My trick (since I know an ice pack would probably just get thrown away) is freezing Go-Gurt. I put a frozen one in his lunch with a cold drink too and it keeps everything else cold and the yogurt is thawed just in time for lunch

My mom used to draw characters/messages on my banana in my lunch when I was in school. She wasn’t the best artist but I really enjoyed reading the messages everyday. Best mom ever!
