I think it’s awesome that they are all females. It would be good for young boys to see that women are every bit as intelligent as their male counter parts…..heaven forbid your son play with (gasp) a girl scientist!
The designer made it because there had only been one or two female scientist minifigures ever.

*We keep bank accounts for the kidlets money with homemade checks so they can learn to keep a ledger and all that. 50% of their income (gift money, chores, the like) automatically goes into their savings portion and the rest is their’s to do whatever. We match an additional 3% of whatever goes into their savings so the majority of the kids do that as well. They also pay taxes which go to a charity of their choice and teaches about the system and what not. It works pretty well!
