    By “FREE” ,does it mean that it will still charge your card, but then put the $ back a day or two later?

  They don’t charge your card unless you keep it for longer than a 1 day rental. If you forget to return on time, you’ll be charged per day, for all the extra days you keep it.

    Promo is really $2 off, so you can get 2 movies for around $1 ($1.07 for me with tax) if you prefer rather than 1 free (and lose .50 of the promo). 🙂

  didn’t Redbox raise their rental rates to $1.50 last month? For me it is $1.50+$.12 tax.

    I rented two movies – separately – and I was able to get them both free!!! One was even a Blu-Ray. Just had to enter my info twice – but who cares when it’s free!!!!

    I called Redbox yesterday to check the code and they say the EXPIRATION DATE on that specific code is/was 1/15/15 — NOT– 1/18/15. And looking at the responses listed here that lines up as correct. Unfortunately – I waited to use it on Sunday the 18th.
