Has anyone bought these coats before? We need really warm, durable coats for cold winters.
My daughter received the pink leopard coat featured in the above post as a gift. I would put it in the category of a top layer coat from the 3-n-1 style. I hope this makes sense. 🙂 She will wear the new coat after the cold winter weather disappears. For now, she is wearing her other coat. It appears to be a good brand and I’m sure the bubble coats are warmer.
My kids have had these coats before. Usually sold at Bon Ton so more high end. Obviously there are different thicknesses, but they hold up well passing down child to child.
My daughter had a dress coat and it looked brand new when we passed it down to my niece! It was a beautifully made coat. I was wishing this year she hadn’t grown out of it. I bought her a black one, not as pretty as the red one she had but still good for wearing dresses or dress clothes with!
They are good quality, definitely high end!
Anyone have personal experience with this brand? I’m wondering if these are really warm coats. They are definitely cute but wondering if they are good for really cold temps (it’s 11 here right now!). Thanks!
I bought one for my son last year (for this year). Very good quality and warm! There was a flaw with the first one they sent, and I contacted them and they were so good about replacing it immediately…great customer service too!

Same thing happened to me last year. Finally got it to work late at night. Next day I got a letter saying they would not honor code/price. Didn’t offer substitute, apology, or incentive to shop with them in the future, so unfortunately I no longer patronize this company.
I was turned off by the improper grammar in some of the item descriptions. Never shopped with them previously, but reading typos on a company website doesn’t instill any confidence for me.
My daughter had this brand of coat when she was younger. It was very nice quality and made it through her and her sister!
Be aware there is a glitch with at least 1 coat. The faux wool pea coat for girls 7-16. It is charging me $7,500.00 instead of $75.00.

I have used this site for years and I LOVE their quality. They are warm, comfy, cute and sturdy. I have also washed my in the washing machine without problems. I HIGHLY recommend them!!
How do they fit big or true to size?
I usually buy one size up in winter coats. My girls have had these costs before, they prob are true to size but with bulky sweaters, etc. I still buy one size up.
Excellent quality and warm – I did this last year for my girls and they are warm in this -25 windchill we are having and they seem very durable.
I have not heard of this company but it had been in business of doing outwear since 1881 (according to the website) O_O

It was regularly $80 but marked down to $20. I had a $10 off $25 so added 2 sets of hair accessories and a pair of slippers for $18 out the door. Unfortunately the coat seems to run on the small side so I’ll have to do an exchange.
Don’t order from this site. There is no phone number. You can’t change your order just a few hours after you placed your order. You will get better choices at Amazon with a more user friendly website and product description. Better yet, you can see feedback. I regret I bought from this company.
I have bought from Rothschild kids site a couple of times for the grandkids. The coats are high end coats. I have also bought Rothschild from Macy’s. I have never had a problem with their quality or getting the coats I ordered. If I am going to buy all of the grandkids a winter coat, I look for their 75% off clearance sale that runs about this time every year.
