they run large!
I think it depends on your kid. My 3 year old wears size 4 in tops & dresses, and some of the dresses are tight on her torso. The pants in 3 fit her well, though. As as reference, she turned 3 on nov 30th; she’s 38″ tall & 35lbs. HTH!
In my experience the toddler sizes have been true to size (boys and girls).
Sizing depends on the style. The wrap dresses are on the slimmer side but generally TTS. The dresses from this destination are generally TTS with a few running wide (corduroy dresses)

Love this brand, especially for girls. This is honestly one of the best sales I’ve seen Tea have. Got dress w/ leggings for $10-12. Sizes are true to size, often run a little slimmer in some styles. I tend to go up a size when buying. Find it gives my daughter a longer span of time to wear it.
I LOVE tea, all of their dresses work great as shirts when the girls get older. My daughter wore a 6-12 month dress through 2 years old because it worked as a tunic, then a shirt. Totally worth the money!!
I do the same! and in reverse, too- buy a shirt in a larger size so starts as more of a dress/tunic and she can grow into it as a shirt 😀
how is the quality of the clothes???
The quality is great!! The dresses are beautiful and washes up nicely. My girls have been wearing the same dresses for a few years and they still look new. Tea customer service is great too. $7.xx is an amazing price for tea dresses!!
I highly recommend Tea. You can shop Nordstroms and they have their brand in their stores. It’s cotton, soft, cozy, and fun!
I got a tea collection shirt in one of my Citruslane boxes for my 2 year old daughter awhile back. I love it. The quality is excellent and she wears it all the time. Then I went to their website to possibly buy some more and was like…YIKES! However, at these prices you can’t even buy Walmart or Carters clothes for any cheaper. Thank you for letting us know about this deal!
I also got a onesie for my baby from CitrusLane. The material is much thicker than the gerber or carters onesies.
