sort of random, but does anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced pair of womens size 11 rain boots? target only goes to size 10…and mens are too wide. any other stores i have found are absurdly expensive. i just want something for gardening on my muddy property! i have a narrow foot and very narrow heel… thanks πŸ˜‰

Mine are size 11 but unfortunately I got them at Aldi’s grocery store once when they were a special buy. Not sure where to find some inexpensive now. Sorry.

I have a Columbia outlet by my house and at the end of the season 5 yrs ago I found an awesome pair for $10. I’m a size 10.

They have rubber type boots at places like Tractor Supply. Not anything fancy but I actually like them better then my previous Target pair.

The avenue carries larger size women’s c clothes and shoes. You can also find bigger sizes at Payless. And sad another comment said check places like tractor supply our local feed stores

I have LL Bean boots that are great and I’m an 11. They were pricey $70 ish I think but everything has a lifetime guarantee from LLBean. They have great customer service.

Got a pair for my Son! I was trying to hold out until the next consignment sale but now he can get a new pair of his favorite… superhero!

Already have the raincoat and I was going to get this exact pair for my son for Christmas but couldn’t find them so this is perfect!!

Have you checked Target online? I wear 11 too and love that it’s just uncommon enough I can almost always find clearance. I got my boots at JCPenney a few years back.

Am I alone in my thinking that rain boots for kids are an unnecessary expense? I live in MN. I guess having to buy tennis shoes and winter boots is enough lol

    • Jessie

I think it depends on where you are. It rains a lot here, including in winter, and the kids still play outside if it is damp and puddley … Boots save wet feet and stinky sneakers. Honestly though I didn’t see the big deal until we were gifted some … Now I can’t go back!

It rains often where we are and my boys love to trek across our fields…thank goodness for rain boots…they’ve saved my sanity! πŸ™‚

Rainboots are a necessary item for us!! We actually opted out of snowboots for our daughter this yr and bought fleece rainboot liners for playing in the cold/snow. Its just an easy play shoe (rain, snow or shine / warm or cold) and keeps them dry. In the summer we usually have crocs as the go to play shoe until the child can do do a strapped shoe by him/herself.

I use mine almost every day. I’ve had mine for 5 years and they still look like new. They are Sorel brand from Columbia. I think I paid $10 at the end of the season so glad I bought them. We live on 7 wooded hilly acres and it gets muddy. Nice to have when going out to feed the animals.

    • Lizz

I thought they were unnecessary until we got a pair. My little ones can put them on with ease, that is big thing for them AND me. also, my boys like to play outside in the dirt and any puddle they can find so I tuck their pants into the boot to avoid having to change pants and socks when they come inside.

Thanks for sharing this Collin! We are over here in Okinawa & my son has been needing some rain boots! There is not a lot to choose from over here and I wasn’t willing to spend $30+ on some. πŸ™‚
