I don’t know about the blankets, but I came across 2 online scarves returned to the retail store and they were kinda itchy. (Not merino soft.)
Same here! I ordered the Ely Plaid wool scarf & had to return it because it was too scratchy. I expect wool to be somewhat rough, but this was beyond. I was so disappointed because I love the look of it.
Reviews of that scarf were mixed; one said it was scratchy, and another thought it was the softest wool ever. It was so beautiful (and I love that they’re made by a small U.S. company with such a long history!) that I thought it was worth a try. Here’s hoping that it works out.
