can somebody tell me what’s in this book? I’ve never heard of it

Read the bottom of the post…restaurant coupons…entertainment and retail coupons…grocery stores…etc.

    • meg

And this is a great deal! Well worth the $10. Imo.

      • MCouzens

Are all the coupons area specific? Even the ones for chain businesses?

        • meg

You choose what state and city you want.

        • meg

I should add that I have been able to use mine while on vacation in another state. So some are area specific and some are not.

It is a book of buy one get one free and discounted coupons. You can go to http://www.entertainment.com, click on your city of residence, and get an idea from the sample coupons they have on display. At full price I would not buy but at $10.00 I could possibly come out ahead. In the past I have maybe used 5% of the coupons in the book. They usually have some McDonalds offers and many of the other fast food places along with more high end restaurants. Of course most of the really successful high end ones don’t need to advertise so much. Also if you go to Orlando on vacation or any other city for that matter, you can save money if you use the book. Think I have just talked myself into getting one.

I have not bought one of these books in years, but you are right…bought one before a trip to Hawaii once and saved a lot of money on lodging. Don’t know if its the same anymore.

I just bought 4 of these (Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale and Miami) a few days ago. We live in Western PA and will be driving down in late March to FL to enjoy some much needed sun, sea and sand. We’ll go as south as we need to to find some warm waters on the East Coast. 😛 We’ve never actually bought the Entertainment Book before and at $6.25 per book, we hope we get some value out of them.

PS If anyone has any ideas for where would be a good place for a family with a toddler, I’d greatly appreciate it. TIA.

I’m in South Florida and the weather should be warm in March, but the water could still be a little chilly.

Through ebates and shop at home it was much more expensive.

Can someone clarify if these auto-renew?

    • Ashley

They do not auto renew. I’ve purchased for probably 10 years and always had to make each purchase of a new one every year.

  7. Jenn

I clicked on my Ebates but went thru e-mail offer & Ebates still paid me 🙂 They have a great App for smart phones also that you link your book ID #.

  8. Heather

At the end of checkout there was the option for auto renew, be sure to check no if you don’t want it. It does offer you $2 extra off if you do choose auto renew but if you cancel auto renew, it looks like there is a fee.

HELP!! at the end of placing an order and already paying, it asks you to create an account by setting up a password (email was already listed) to “fully activate membership” and gain access to 100s of online coupons, etc., does anyone know if by doing this it will automatically renew a membership, which I do not want and already declined before placing order. Thanks for your help!

  10. Jackie Harvey

Anna, Activating Membership should allow you to print out newly added offers, such as a 20% off at Claire’s, etc. Shouldn’t be a renewal thing.

The pricing is back up to 22.75. Was this a limited time deal?

If you go to Hip2Save site page and enter Entertainment Book 2015 into the search area, it will lead you to the $10 deal.
