Check out how Hip2Save reader, Melissa, recently made use of one of the photo canvas deals…

This year was my 5th wedding anniversary. Things have been pretty tight financially, so I wanted to do something special, but not break the bank. I found an adorable infographic online, but it would have been crazy expensive to order a personalized one.  So, I decided to try and make my own using a website I had heard about a few years ago, piktochart.com (I am no graphic designer so I really got all of my inspiration from this one by Lili Ribs). They have a free membership option, so I used that to create my own. Initially, I was planning to just print a larger copy of it with our photo printer and frame it.  However, a week before our Anniversary, you posted the Easy Canvas Prints sale, so I decided to do that instead.  It came so fast and looks amazing! I can’t believe it only cost me $40.99 and about a week of my spare time! But best of all, the hubby loved it. 🙂[/h2s_box]

I adore canvas prints. They are very pricy on collage buget, but worth every penny. 🙂

  10. Melanie

    Wow, that is awesome!!!!!

  11. Sarah

How do you transfer it from piktochart as the example to the canvas web site?

    • Amanda

Yes I was wondering this as well! My 10 year anniversary is coming up and it would be fun to make one! Do you get a pdf after? can you upload pdf? Is it jpg?

      • Melissa

When you are done with it on piktochart, you can download a JPEG or PDF copy on your computer (for the free version you have a limit on the size, but it was big enough for the canvas!) It was super easy to upload for my canvas after that. 🙂

  12. Brittany

I just ordered 2 for my love for Valentine’s day! I am so excited!

  13. Ashley

Recently bought from this company. 2 canvas’s only 1 turned out decent.

    • k

What was wrong with the other one? Thinking of ordering now…

      • Erica

I’d like 2 know also b4 placing my order?????

  14. D

Wow! This is so cute! 🙂 I’m attempting to do my own but where in the heck did you get your graphics? Did you custom make those?

    • Melissa

No, they were all on piktochart. You can upload images to your account, but I was worried that it might not look as uniform, so I just used what they provided on the site.

I did a deal with them before Christmas for 2 large canvases free shipping… low price… Customer service contacted me because one of my photos was not high enough resolution. They were so wonderful to let me get that done at a smaller size even though it would have been more expensive had I bought the two dif sizes, since that was not the deal. Once resolved, the canvases were shipped and received so soon after, I was amazed.

It was my Moms’ favorite photo of my Dad from the 1980’s. He passed in 2007, and I knew she would love it (and cry) because canvases are such an awesome way to display photos… they look like paintings.

The quality of canvases from this company is much higher than other companies I have purchased from, (even though I have no complaints about any canvases I have bought) … highly recommend taking advantage of this deal.

Thanks for the shout out! I’m so glad you liked my design, and thank you for the link back to my site. Infographics make great gifts because they are more than just a gift, but also a piece of history. I’m all about finding good deals, so its great that you found a way to create your own on a budget, and present it beautifully too. One of my main goals when creating designs for my clients is to make something original that really represents who they are. While I am very flattered you were inspired by my design specifically, I would encourage you all to channel your inner designer and come up with something that is uniquely your own. It makes it a little mores special that way 🙂

You can’t take someone else’s art and publish it as your own! The original and clearly superior image is copyrighted, did you know? It’s not Hip To Steal, friends!

  18. Amy Stotts

The one I ordered for my mom’s birthday came in today and she’s going to absolutely love it! Wow, she’s hard to buy for, because she has everything and then some, so this should be the perfect gift for her! Thanks so much for this terrific deal!
