Through January 26th or while supplies last, thredUP, a site that sells gently used name-brand clothing, shoes and handbags, is hosting a 99¢ Event and offering up 50,000 items priced at just 99¢ including clothing from designer brands like Armani, Givenchy, Theory and Marc Jacobs. Prices are as marked (no coupon code needed) – note that these are final sale items.

Shipping is FREE on orders of $50 or more. If you don’t plan on spending that much, note that shipping is $2.99 for the first item and $0.99 for each additional item added to your cart. But if you add 10 or more 99¢ sale items to your cart, the shipping is a flat $9.99 rate until you hit the $50 threshold at which point shipping is free.

Are you new to ThredUP? Sign up for a new account through this link (yes, this is my referral link) and you’ll snag a FREE Credit valid for $10 off your first purchase. And the best part – this credit can be applied to the 99¢ Sale mentioned above!

* Keep in mind that you can also create your own referral link to share with friends, family, and on your own Facebook / Twitter pages. When they go through your link, they’ll get $10 to spend and you’ll get $10 to spend once their order ships… so it’s a win win![/h2s_box]

I sent in a bag back in the fall and had not used all of my credit, so I was able to use it and get two shirts for my kiddo for $1.24 shipped. Yay!

Anyone else think it’s disrespectful to post your links when Collins the one who shared the deal. IMHO I feel like you should use the referral link for the person who actually referred you, in this case collin.

    • Jean

I agree that it is disrespectful to post your own links in the comments. Colin even mentioned that you can post your own link on YOUR facebook page or site. It’s also annoying to read the messages people leave when you think it is going to be a helpful suggestion about the product or site and you have to read about all these people begging you to use THEIR link and not Collins. It’s a waste of time!

      • Texas Gal

I do have a question about that… I agree with you totally about Collin receiving the referral money but my question is: I’m pretty sure places like thredUP and twice that have these referral programs set a cap on the amount you can earn for referrals. It says in fine print on the site (up to $xx.xx) so I agree that everyone should use her links to give her the money but once she has reached her cap wouldn’t it be ok for other people to help each other out to reach there caps as well? Like I said I agree with u totally I just wondering about this if someone could answer back 🙂

    • Jack

No, I don’t agree that it is direspectful. Collin is not your friend even though we feel like we know her through this website. She makes money off of the ads posted to her page. Is it ethical to also receive 1000 referrals from each of you? I am guessing that the average reader needs the referral credit more than Collin. Would you feel the same if someone was posting referral links on Walmart.com? They are both businesses.

    • Casey

I don’t know. I like to split it evenly. Half the time I’ll use Collin’s link and half the time I’ll help somebody else. I like to think the “Hip family” likes to help everyone.

      • Casey

AND if you want to get technical, “Kelly” is credited with finding the deal and reporting to Collin. So maybe we should be using Kelly’s link?

        • Courtney

          I would totally use “kelly”s.

          • Kelly

I e-mailed Collin this morning about this deal. I just wanted to share it with others, didn’t want any gain. It MADE MY DAY to see so many people get so many great deals! I’m glad that this HIP community helps each other out!

  9. Jackie

Collin, I signed up using your link but I don’t see the $10 credit on my account. Did I do something wrong?

    • Heather

That happened to me as well. I placed my order and emailed them. They fixed it for me! 🙂

  10. Sandra

So agree with Courtney. Collin does the work to post the deals. I really feel anyone using this site to learn about offers should use her link and not post theirs.

    • Casey

Ok, well you can use Collin’s link, like many people are, and everyone else can spread the love around. Win Win.

      Nothing to see here, folks.

  11. Souther Girl

Here’s my link if anyone would like to use it! I’ve used others links before! 🙂 tight budget and would appreciate any help 🙂

  12. wwndy

I have been a thredup customer for over six months and here is what I would recommend you. Most of their clothing is great, but make sure you buy “practically new” labeled items. If you buy one that says “tiny flaw”, it’s likely to turn out to be more than just a tiny flaw. Except for this, overall shopping there is great. Here’s my link in case you would like to sign up: https://www.thredup.com/r/FRMPXR
    Thank you!

      • Valeria

Thank you so much! Glad I could help 🙂

  14. Sendy

I used Collin’s link too and didn’t get a credit.

  15. kelly

I have had really good experiences with thredup. I have found so many cute things for my toddler and a few treats for myself! I would love it if someone would use my link for the $10 credit (thank you)! 🙂 It is https://www.thredup.com/r/TCA2IW

I placed an order for 40 or so items for my boys… Much of it was nwot “one jackson” brand stuff which i think is their in-house brand. Good quality stuff. Super pumped.

  18. libby

Looks like they’ve been wiped out! I placed an order earlier today (thanks for the info btw) and checked again a few hours ago and there were maybe a couple dozen items to be found. I thought they had thousands this morning

    • libby

Oh duh! The post says there were 50000 to start

    • May

Does anyone know if 99¢ stocks are going to be replenished tomorrow?

  19. Bets

love the kids clothes on this site. You can score some awesome deals normally. Some of my favs are the $20-$30 coach wallets and patagonia snow suits I’ve seen on there. They also have awesome customer service and free returns. Here’s a $10 off link. https://www.thredup.com/r/U4CJPO

  20. Kim

All of these comments to read through and I didnt see if anyone answered the question about not receiving the $10 sign up bonus when using Colin’s link. I got the ‘thanks for signing up’ email, but no $10 bonus 🙁

  21. rob

Hi I did this deal and got 51 things for my wife, but only got not even half of the order and now my order status states delivered is anyone else having this problem? I am missing pants, shorts, skirts and few other shirts. Her birthday is coming up and thought it would be a great surprise. Anyways I contacted the company through email and phone, will see.

    • texmix

Did you get any response back?
I finally got the package and there were a little more than half items. I was wondering how big box they sent, one package for 51 items… I called them just now and have to wait…
