I have this one in the Capri pattern! I LOVE THIS HIGHCHAIR! My little guy has been able to use it since he was a few months old. He is now 20 months and we still use it constantly. It has 3 trays which comes in handy when you are not able to immediately able to clean the top one(s).

Sorry if this is a dumb question but why are these expensive highchairs better than the cheapo seats that strap onto your existing chairs? We have one of those and my baby seems fine on it, but wondering if I’m missing something here?
I was visiting my friend last week with my 15-month-old and I used this same high chair while staying at her house. Honestly, the only thing I liked about it was the height, because I rolled my son over to the kitchen island in it when we were chopping onions. Other than that, everything looked dirty. We have a basic booster seat w/ tray that straps into a chair. I love it because it never gets dirty and all I have to do is wipe it down. I imagine if I wanted a high chair just for the height I’d just go get the basic ones they sell at Ikea—I’ve used those in the past (Antilop I think is what it’s called) and it was awesome. Only thing is we had to sell it when we moved and we don’t live near an Ikea. Anyway, just my two cents…I’d rather have something I could wipe clean. Heck, I’d enjoy having a restauraunt high chair because it’s basic and wood and would match better with my decor! 🙂
Also–the tray is SO large and cumbersome and although you can place it in the dishwasher, I prefer small trays that the little Fisher Price booster seats come with! The tray for the Antilop high chair is better too. I noticed when trying to hand wash the tray (of the featured high chair in this post) at my friend’s house, it collected tons of water in the bottom half of the tray, on the underside, and I didn’t realize it and I accidently poured water all over the floor! That’s not really possible with these cheaper chairs. These trays are so large and even heavy, to be honest, that I’m not sure what all the rave reviews are about :/
