   I have a kohls card but I’d rather use a kohls gift card I was given for Christmas, is there any way to do that and still use these codes? Maybe a partial payment on the credit card? How?

  It’s my understanding that you can still use a gift card and a kohl’s card and use the codes. I’ve done it in the store, but you would just have to try it online. Good luck!

  Any idea how to tell it how much to charge on the card? It’s a big gift card so I can’t exactly apply it first then charge the rest. Thanks for your help!

  In the past I’ve paid my order in full with a giftcard and the Kohl’s cardholder codes still work.

  I’ve never tried that…I’m not sure if its an option online. Just put the gift card in, then make sure your promo codes did not get removed before you ‘place order.’

  have your kohls charge card as your main method of payment, saved. then enter the gift card. I do it all the time and get the 30% off

  Kohls placed a 30% off in my ‘wallet’ on the Kohls app. You still have to use your kohls charge card.

   I pay with my credit card then right there on there make the payment on credit card to avoid the extra charges

  There should not be any extra charges when using a credit card if you pay the full balance at the end of every month, when your bill comes in. You shouldn’t have to pay it in the store…but I understand that this would help people budget to go ahead and pay it.

   When I use the NEWYEAR30 code it gives me 30% off, but when I apply my Kohl’s cash, the 30% off is reduced to 10%. Why?

  The Kohls cash is always deducted first then you will get the 30% off the remaining balance. I wish it was the other way around but sadly it’s not.

  I’m still confused. I have $20 Kohls cash which should bring my total to 9.99 +tax and then I get only 10% off 9.99 and not 30% off 9.99.

  That is strange. It should definitely be 30% taken off the $9.99 remaining balance. That’s how it has always worked for me. Sorry I wasn’t able to help 🙁

  Jennifer, It was 30% off the 9.99 remaining balance so it left me with a balance of 7.41 after tax. I thought the deal would be even sweeter though if it was 30% off the 29.99 making it $20.99 then only .99 plus tax after my $20 Kohl’s cash. Still a good deal though. Thanks for your help.
