Kmart: Doubling Coupons up to a $2 Value with a $25 Purchase
Kmart Shoppers! Starting today and running through January 31st, Shop Your Way Rewards Members get to double their manufacturer coupons up to a $2 value with a purchase of $25 or more (calculated before coupons) in grocery, household and drugstore merchandise at Kmart. Limit 5 coupons per customer per day and limit 4 purchases of the same item.
Note that if the double coupon value exceeds the value of the item, the double value will automatically be reduced down to the cost of the item so you won’t get overage, but you will get the item free!

Went this afternoon. I’ve been saving my $2 coupons for this. I’ve always been able to do multiple transactions but today I was only allowed to do one. The cashier said they just started only allowing one a day. Would have been nice to know before I spent an hour getting everything and splitting it all up into $25 orders..not sure if this is just that one Kmart or all.

You’re lucky to have the option of a different cashier, Barb. At my store there’s usually one line open, or no lines running while all the employees stand and talk at the service desk. 😉

It did at my store! I actually had to sign up for a new rewards card because the cashier messed up my first transaction, and the manager had her re-ring it. Even though the first transaction was voided and not completed, the system said that I had reached my doubled coupon limit for the day. I was at check out forever all because the cashier typed in one dollar instead of 2.
I purchased 3 Pantene Styler spray gels($4.99), 1 Herbal Essence shampoo($3.99) and 2 Huggie 64ct wipes ($2.99)for 6.56!

I’ve never couponed at Kmart I have bought things online and am a member of the shop ur way rewards program online do I have to also sign up at the store and get a membership card ??
If your phone number is attached to your account you don’t need a card at all.
If you are signed up online you are signed up in store, they can look up your e-mail or phone number.

I went today. Nothing was to exciting. Loreal shampoo/conditioner was 2/$9=$1. Always liners for pee were $3.99=free. I was happy to find $1 peelies on Pepsi 24ct packs. = $6 for 48 cans.
Can anyone explain how this works? What coupons double? Do I have to spend $25 before coupons or after? What type of items will not help me hit the $25 mark? You could say I am new to Kmart.
You must have at least $25 worth of product After Kmart coupons but Before manufacturer coupons. (Anything will count towards your $25) Your first 5 coupons up to $2 each will double. So say you have (5) $2 coupons, each will double to $4, deducted $20 from your total, making you only pay $5 oop for $25 worth of product does that make sense? You can use more then 5 coupons, just make sure to give the ones you want to double first. Here’s a deal scenario to help make more sense:
Buy (1) BIC Soleil, Hybrid, Flex 3 of Flex 4 Shavers $5.49ea
Buy (2) L’Oréal Paris Products $4.50ea = $9.00
Buy (2) Speed Stick Gear $4.49ea = $8.98
Buy (2) Glade Oil Warmers $0.99ea = $1.98
Total = $25.45
Use (1) $2.00/1 Bic coupon (deducts $4.00)
Use (2) $2.00/1 Loreal coupon (doubles to $4.00ea, deducts $8.00)
Use (2) $2.00/1 Speedstick coupon (doubles to $4.00ea, deducts $8.00)
Use (2) $1.00/1 Glade coupon (deducts $1.98)
Pay $3.47+tax for all! Just $0.50 per product!

Are the kmart coupons from the syw app store coupons or manufacture? Can i use that and my paper combined?
The ones i mentioned are all printable (which some stores accept and some don’t) yes you can combine syw coupons and regular manufacture coupons – your total just has to be $25 after your Kmart coupons are applied and then you can use manufacture coupons to get your total cost down.

I’m glad some people are finding great deals. The employees at my Kmart are not well informed. It’s useless to drive to Kmart knowing there is a 50/50 chance the cashier may or may not be aware of their coupon policy or at least know how to scan a manufacturer coupon.

My local Kmart stopped accepting printed coupons per their coupon policy. Has anyone else dealt with this lately? I haven’t seen an updated policy lately.

Most Kmarts only allow one transaction per person per day now. So all you have to do is find the deals you want and the coupons you want, make sure they total over $25 after kmart coupons but before mfg coupons and go to checkout. After they ring in all of your product hand them Kmart coupons first (if you have any) and then hand them the 5 coupons you want doubled. They will scan them in and they should automatically double for you. You can use more then the 5 coupons, just make sure to hand the ones you want doubled first. After they scan all your coupons you can also use any SYW points you have to pay for the rest. Just tell them “I would like to use my points” and they will apply them for you. If you have any other questions let me know.
my kmart won’t accept ‘those internet coupons’…still some good deals with regular ones though, you just have to plan on extra time and patience when couponing at kmart.
I’ve heard this a lot and I find it really sad. I think its because their registers are too outdated to scan them properly. I know 90% of the time my Kmart has to hand key in the coupons, but they are fantastic about it. They keep saying they are going to update their registers but it never seems to happen… Plus they have a Walmart going in right next door so I’m really afraid they’ll be going out of business before it will happen.. I guess we’ll see though!
You have to have a lot of patience with Kmart. The Little rock Kmart is pretty good though. The Cabot one not so much………

From what I have been told after having trouble during their last double coupon event. Kmart has no set coupon policy and its to the stores discretion on what they will take and what they wont. When i go to the kmart near me they will only take 5 coupons total. Even if im not doubling them, they refuse them. Its totally frustrating but they are set that they can only accept 5 coupons.
That is so sad that your store doesn’t let you have more then 5 coupons – you are 100% correct about the coupon policy. They don’t not have an official policy – very frustrating for customers. Hopefully one day they will get on the ball with that!
Just thought I would let you know that Kmart will take more than 5 coupons per transaction but only the first 5 will double and as a member you can only double 5 coupons per day with your shop your way rewards account. Also, Kmart will take print at home coupons just not for razors, alkaline batteries, alcohol or tobacco. All stores should also have a coupon policy posted at their Service Desk and when they are having a double coupon week they should have a special double coupon policy posted.
So i have my free coke 12 pack coupons could i use those and then get my other coupons doubled in hopes of getting some free stuff?
