   My husband has Type 1 Diabetes, but my impression of these magazines is that they are geared toward people with Type 2 (the opposite). Can anyone confirm that?

   I have gotten that magazine in the past. It has some news but is mainly recipes. Personally I found a few good recipes but there were many that had too many carbs for me. I do not have more than 2 carb servings at dinner (30g) and some of the recipes had much more than that.

   My son has Type 1 as well, and I get this magazine and Diabetes Self Management magazine. I like the recipes in this one. I like having the carb counts ready to enter in his pump.

   there is also a killer offer for all you, cooking light and real simple to get it for 2.00 for a year. Just cancel before the year is up so you won’t be charged full price next time it renews.
