  I love my canon laser printer!! I print stacks of papers daily and have only replaced the toner once so far! (I’ve had it for over 6months+) When I had an HP printer i was replacing it almost every 2-3 weeks! And to replace the toner its only $13 bucks on Amazon, verses the $20-$30 it cost to replace my HP – by FAR cheaper! Just note that it only prints in black and white.

   I bought this same printer few weeks back at same price and also used 10 off 50 coupon i had received for signing up with text messages. I just added index cards for $1.50 which i needed and got the printer and index cards for $41.xx plus tax with free shipping. very nice small compact printer has a starter ink toner of about 700 pages plus and is also wireless.

   Canon toner replacement cartridges are $69.99 each on the Staples website. Costly. Any one ever use the other compatible replacements? TIA

  Yes off brand on Amazon is $12.xx right now and works just as well. Plus the ink prices on Staples are almost double right now because they put out a coupon for 50% off your ink purchase (45526 – The coupon comes up as BOGO 50% off, but it appears to be taking the discount off each one instead.)

  Go and buy a printer, and install at your house. Don’t want to do that? Find a friend and ask if you can use their computer and mooch their ink.

  I have always used Apple products and have never use a “special apple printer.” In fact, Apple does not manufacture printers. I have had great success using Brother, Epson and Canon printers with my Macintosh. While I am looking for a wireless laser printer, I will probably skip this one just because it has so many reviews about connectivity problems.
