   Ohhh.. man! I must buy a pair for my husband. I went and checked a pair of shoes I’ve been stalking for weeks! They were 50% off the price I saw them at originally. Ugh.. my trigger finger needs to be put in timeout.

   Just called Columbia. These glasses do not offer the recommended UVB protection. Just an FYI.

  So the 100% uv protection means nothing really? Is it just for UVA? Sorry I don’t know much about it but would like to know more!

    Lex, I agree. This is so hard to comprehend! Gloaucoma.org states that labeling regarding UV protection is voluntary and can be confusing. WebMD says that you should look for label or sticker that says sunglasses block UVA and UVB. Probably best to contact manufacturer? Anyone have any other ideas or info? I try to be an educated consumer, especially when it comes to the health of my kiddos.

    i agree with SAM above, i had bought Columbia sunglasses from 6pm a month or so ago and found the quality to be very sub-par and flimsy. I returned them promptly.

    They’re showing up 15.99 now. Even though it shows 9.99 when you go to check out it goes up. Called customer service and they can’t go anything about it. Oh well!! 🙂
