I LOVE MY VITAMIX! It’s awesome. You can also get this same one in black at Costco for $375.

Very tempted to pull the trigger. Is this the best price possible?

      • Erin

I saw better prices at Target and Bed Bath Beyond when Vitamix updated their line, but you’d have to pay attention to when Vitamix rolls out new models and watch the stores that carry them.

I purchased this model from Amazon, but in stainless for 355.00 about 10 months ago. I do love it!

What a great deal. We love our Vitamix.

And just so you know, they stand behind their 7 year warranty. After a year, the button on mine stopped turning. They paid postage both ways, repaired it for free and had it back to me in about a week.

    Why so expensive lol

It is an extremely good blender. My mom got one back in the day and it was powerful enough to grind your wheat into flour and then mix it into bread dough. That said, I don’t have terribly warm feelings for the company. These were touted as blenders that you’ll never have to replace but they stop making parts for older models, instead offering loyal customers a $100 “trade-in” on a new blender, and there are no sales or discounts through VitaMix, so you are dropping another $400-$500 for a good model. It’s almost an insult.

There is a hilarious scetch on SNL that you have to see about the Vitamix and its cost! It’s on YouTube.

  5. Susan

Totally recommend it. I use it every day!! It’s worth every penny!

  6. jane

You can get it at costco for $325 when they offer sale on it.

Our family uses ours at least 5 times a day… It’s amazing. I have had nothing but good experiences when I have called customer services. Yes, it’s an investment… But totally worth it! We make smoothies daily and it makes a super smooth hummus. I also use it to make baby food, sorbets from frozen berries and bananas, soup, sauces, dressings and so much more!!!

      Hi
You said you make baby food but it’s jar is too big don’t you have to spend time scraping purée out? Unless you make big batches

I wasn’t in the market for one of these, but seems like a good deal so I pulled the trigger. Hoping I don’t regret this purchase and that I’ll get good use out of it and it will be worth the money!

  9. Jeena

I agree with all the above comments. It is totally worth the money. I got it from Costco last April and I love making smoothies, sorbets, icecreams and soups. Cleanup is a breeze. Next i want to get the dry container to grind my own flour.

I love love love love love my Vitamix! You won’t regret it. I cut up my veggies there for food prep, make healthy ice cream, cake batter, cookie batter, hummus, smoothies, milkshakes, soups, etc. When my baby starting eating baby foods, I just blended a banana and some other vegetable to make baby food. Got it refurbished as an anniversary present from hubby. I believe it’s $300 refurbished with the 7 year warranty.
