To be honest that’s a lil steep for shipping. But if it’s good quality I guess it’s worth it. Anybody used the company yet?

I use them all the time and love them. Even more so than shutterfly. The quality of their books is great and they always have great promos running. That being said their designs are very basic, pretty much just pictures so if you are looking to add all the cutesy scrapbook like backgrounds this may not be for you. Also they ship from New York so if you live on the east coast shipping is cheaper

      • Erica

I am on the east coast. Thanks a million for the words of wisdom!

Don’t use them. It’s the worst interface I’ve ever used for creating books. The software is from the 80’s. I wouldn’t even bother if they paid me to make a book through them.

oh my! so glad I didn’t waste my time… or MONEY! THANKS

I disagree. I find the software great. It is a very simple program so there are not a ton of bells and whistles but it makes it easy to use. If you want to add more customization you can do that by adding photo and text boxes. The only place I see it is lacking is that you can not transfer the book to another computer to work on it. However I do like that is based on my computer and saved so it make it easier for me to add to our yearly books a bit at a time through the year. Since I used them in 2012 I have not purchased a photobook from any where else. I love the linen covers and feel the quality of the books are so much better than what I have recieved from other retailers. With the promos always running it is a good price for what you get and let’s me splurge on the lay flat pages. A friend saw the wedding album we ordered through them for about $70 and commented how much nicer it was then the one she paid $700 for through her photographer.

Erica I would really encourage you to give them a try…we have at least 15 of them and love them all

I totally agree. I love making books and have make at least 25 books through Shutterfly and My Publisher. They are both nice, but I do think the My Publisher quality is superior and well worth taking the time to make. And for those who don’t want to pay $10.99 for shipping, I have to say that $11 for a beautiful personalized book with the people you love being featured is a wonderful bargain!

I agree, interface is not terribly user-friendly but I made one for my 16 year old daughter for Christmas, featuring our pets and it was her favorite gift of all. πŸ™‚

I have to agree with all the positive comments about this company. I made many copies of my wedding book for family members (we eloped). I bought a groupon a few years ago for two copies of a standard book. They were great quality and this company stands by their product. One of the books had a very small white spot on the back cover (pin head sized). I sent them a polite email informing them of the defect and they sent me another copy immediately. I will use them again. πŸ™‚
