Couldn’t agree more! So nice to know it’s not just me. I did send a message to cokerewards letting them know I don’t participate in social media activities and dislike the new format. Maybe enough unhappy customers might make them take notice; at least I feel like I tried. Too many points / time invested to give up on completely.
I agree. I hate the new coke program. I just want to enter the points. I don’t use social media. If coke keeps this program they are going to lose more customers.
Totally hate it. Only got to enter 60 points. What????? Eventually in their vast wisdom, you’ll only be able to enter 20 points a week. It sucks.
I totally agree with your hate of the new coke program. I equate their new program with them trying to make trained monkeys out of us. I don’t generally use social media and Coke and nobody else is going to demand it of me and have it happen. I have other much more important things to do in life. It shouldn’t be such a chore just to enter a sweeps or to secure a coupon …. ridiculous!!! I am only on facebook because one of my friends lives several states away from me and she likes to post pics of her family. ( If I send her pics, it is through “snail” mail) plus I check company sites for coupons. And, as far as a smart phone, I use the “ancient” flip phone …. that is, well … just a phone (lol). I don’t use social media because I don’t really like to post my personal data, pictures, etc. for a bunch of strangers to view. And, I don’t have a bunch of “facebook” stranger “friends” … lol. I notice that some people have thousands of “Facebook friends.” Some people collect them like they collect pennies in a jar. I don’t! I consider people I do not know as strangers, not personal friends. I don’t generally like to share personal info with people I do not know. Coke, you are so off the mark that I think I just might totally convert to Pepsi. Coke, you have gotten too big for your britches.

Sam’s Club has some good stuff, but soda is also a big rip off! And you think you’d get a break by purchasing in big quantities…

I’m 32 and it makes me feel old. I don’t understand those social media sites either! Glad I’m not there only one… but here’s the thing with me, I have absolutely NO desire in learning about either one. Ha! Not sure if you all feel the same way or not.

Yep I feel the same way! My husband and I are 28 and 30 and think this social media stuff is out of hand. I hope by the time our girls are teens this still isn’t a “thing.” I hate that everyone thinks they have to share everything. Especially dirty laundry!!
Yep my husband and I don’t partake in fb, Twitter, instagram, etc… We’ve got 4 daughters and here’s hoping by the time they grow up the whole social media craze has fizzled out some. While those sites do have SOME good, they can cause waaaaaay more trouble than what they’re worth. Glad to see we aren’t the only ones in a younger generation that feel that way!
I hate the new MCR. I’ve tried to go along with it and tweet things on Twitter to get status but so far I’ve tweeted 4 things and watched 1 video and haven’t earned any status. It’s a waste of time. Beta along with “New Coke” are/were disasters respectively. BTW, I only need 9 pts to achieve “Gold” status. Most of my status comes from +3 Twitter bonuses as you can do most of them multiple times ea – – – oh & btw #2, I DO NOT HAVE A TWITTER ACCT. MCR’s tweeting is STILL screwed up so just pretend ur tweeting (ie click on button, input e-mail addy & fake pw) & you’ll still get the +3 status pts 24-48 hrs later.

So I went tithe website and posted on Instagram through MCR site. Where and how do I get the coupon?

You have to redeem it on MCR click on notifications to the left of your profile menu at the top right of the screen while logged then fill out your shipping info and they email you when it’s verified. I was having problems with it accepting then checked my email.
Or you can just click on your my MCR Profile and click on Unclaimed Rewards.
I did the same thing, posting on Instagram, nothing in notifications for the coupon 🙁

I was having problems with it to. It really is quite confusing what i did was clicked on link connected my coke rewards account to my twitter account which installed the MCR App on my twiiter account then on twitter I searched #MyCokeRewards and tweeted a random photo that said ah then went back to MCR and it was available.

Yes they did!! It was a limit of 120 and now 75. Super disappointed with the new setup.

It was 120 points per week then 100 points per week now it’s 75. With all of the changes its no longer fun or exciting to be a part of the cokerewards program .I will put my points in and move on.

This new MCR wont even recognize my account…. keeps telling me to “verify my email” and then says that it couldn’t be verified… what? I wonder where my points went if they cant even find my account! So pissed.
Hi they have been under construction so just sign in and follow the 9 screen prompts and in the end it will reconize who you are. They needed us to agree to the new terms that’s why it’s like your joining all over again, but your really not. Also if you signed up with your Facebook then sign in with the facebook bar located on the sign in page at MCR

Just think if others are confused at 20-40 yrs. old think how I feel at 68. I am soooooooo confused. Loved them before but not anymore. Just venting…I just went to walmart and tried to price match3-12pks/$ 9… The cahier walls away them comes back and says ok I can match it (mind u I gave her the ad). She rings up my other items and gives me total. I proceed to hand over the free 12pk coupons from come and again she walks away. She comes back and says sorry you can’t use them. Either we price match OR you pay full price for Cokes but not both. Was she correct? Just curious and wanting to know how to use coupons correctly!
Its better not to price match if you do savings catcher, they double you amount if u add it to a amex bluebird card (they are free and no fees, like a gc) savings catcher price matches it to advertised stores in your area. I did it last week with coke, used free coupons from mrc and made 14 bucks through savings catcher best part i didnt have to deal with cashiers

Kellogg’s made it more difficult to use their points/codes and now MCR!!
