If I were you, I would run back to Dollar Tree and buy a few of those Essie nail strips. I found 2 recently at my DT and LOVE it! I spent $15 plus shopping for Jamberry’s and these are much better. No heat involved. I didn’t even use a top coat and still looks great after 5 days. I have been stalking my DT everyday. I hope I can get more of these for a buck!

    • Courtney.

Really? I hated them and bought a bunch before trying. I’ll give them to you! Lol.

  2. Pharmchick

My dollar tree had gevalia vanilla latte kcups! I picked up 9 boxes lol, and plus they don’t expire till th end of July.

    • michelle

      How many kcups per box?

      • pharmchick

6, but they come with the foam packets to make 6 lattes and not just regular coffee. the best part was i had a few 1/1 tear pad qs from cvs that made a few of the boxes totally free!

        • michelle

Thanks for your reply! I was thinking they might only be 3 count. Six is a really good deal. Love that you could score some for free. Hope I can find these at my $ Tree. I know some $ Tree stores carry more merchandise than others so maybe they are available the larger stores.

          • Pharmchick

You’re welcome! I hope you’re able to find some too!!

    • Cassandra

I didn’t even know they sold that there! Thanks. I’ll check mine this weekend. 😀

    • Laura

Can I see a pic of these?

  3. Gretchen

I love our Dollar Tree’s Wheat bread, it is so soft! Hard to spread peanut butter on, but my kids are crazy about it!

  4. Steph

Recently found Ortega black beans and used $1/2 coupon so they were .50 a can.

  5. jess

    The pens write smooth:)

  6. Pam

Completely off topic but I have gap cash that expires today so feel free to use! Code: PWLTL9W44WLD. Enjoy!

    • Dana

      I’m using this. Thank you!!

  7. kristi

My Dollar Tree has 16oz bags of frozen fruit that are great for smoothies, etc. $2 – $4 less than Aldi and other grocery price

    • Jaime

      Thanks for the tip!

  8. Debbie Couch

Those bacon bowls sell for 10.00 at other stores such as Walmart, Walgreens… those were the “as seen on TV” items. My Dollar Tree had several new seen on TV items for only $1.00!

    • Free123

Wow that great!!! I always wanted to tried the bacon bowls….lol

    • Kathleen

My local Dollar Tree ( Vancouver WA ) had the bacon bowls last week!

  9. jhnicole

I love couponing at dollar tree.I seriously want to take a trip for that free advil.my fav thing there are super pretzels I always find them in stock

    • sarah

Our local dollar tree hardly ever has any quality coupon friendly name brand items 🙁 I’m glad everybody can find good deals though

    • Jaime

I used to always buy the Superpretzels at DT for cheap/free with coupons. Unfortunately, the coupons for the last few months now say in the fine print “not valid on the 7-9 oz stand up bags,” which is what DT carries.

  10. Monica

I’ve been waiting for my dollar tree to get the bacon bowls but I don’t think they are going to get them in 🙁 My hubby wants some.

  11. Diana

I went to dollar tree the other day and got my free advil, childrens colgate toothpaste for $0.50 and colgate toothbrush for $0.25! Yay 🙂
Wish i had seen those bacon bowls!
They did have them at sears on clearance for $3.50 and $5 at walgreens during xmas.

  12. Desiree H.

Just a heads up the Super Pretzel Bites are usually .85 cents for the same size bag at Shoprite, making them .35 cents after the coupon mentioned 🙂

  13. Diana

Fyi i went to cvs today and found hershey’s almond pieces bag in clearance for $1! They had lots of bagged candy for $1 and under. Skinnycow boxes (coupon avail?), snickers butterfingers, jolly rancher chews $0.75! Twizzler big bag bites – $0.79. Awesome 🙂

  14. Mandi

We don’t have anything like that at my dollar store. I would love it if they sold the essie nail stuff! 🙂

  15. michelle

Bacon bowls. Now I’ve heard of it all, LOL. I bet my dog would love one of those.

    • K

They’re not actual bacon. They’re microwaveable and oven safe cups that you wrap bacon around to make the cups.

      • Tara

That’s good to know. I was thinking how nasty they must be if they were made from real bacon.

  16. Aly

I got two boxes of L’Oreal Ombre Touch hair dye at Dollar Tree the other day, I was so excited cause I’ve been wanting to try it! It goes for $12.99 at CVS! Probably my best Dollar Tree find!

    • Rachel

I got a couple boxes a few weeks ago, I was super excited.

  17. Ashley

I got those Gerber owls a couple weeks ago for my youngest son’s Easter basket. My Dollar Tree had small bottles of Mod Podge and different plastic storage bin/baskets than usual. I saw those bacon bowls and a few other ‘as seen on tv’ items that I can’t recall. I wish mine had those yummy breads!

  18. I love couponing

I found those Maybelline eyeliners at my dollar tree a few weeks ago and bought some. The emerald green is beautiful and goes on the best (IMO)… but I must say they all are difficult to blend and the sponge tip doesn’t seem to work well. I will be using as a base for my eyeshadow. Thought I’d give my two cents since I love to talk makeup lol Thanks for the great find Collin!

  19. AGF

Definitely check the manufacture date on the cosmetics they sell. There are several sites online that you can search by lot numbers. I checked a few cosmetics at my Dollar Tree on my smartphone and they were manufactured more than 10 years ago. 😛 Just want to save someone from buying crusty, old cosmetics, even if they are cheap!

    • Dana

What are the sites ? So I can check

  20. Amy

Bought 8 boxes of Gevallia kcups vanilla latte in michigan! 48 cups for $8!! Don’t expire until July

  21. Roselyn C. Robertson

Sometimes I find the Cinnamon Raisin Bread or 12 Pack Hot Dog or Hamburger Buns at Our Dollar Tree. Those packages usually run about $3 or more!! I also find the Frozen Minute Maid Orangeaid or Lemonaid & these are sooo good!!

  22. todd

I tried to use 1 coupon last month and my D.T. told me they stopped taking printed coupons from a home printer, only out of a newspaper or magaizne, even the manager told me that.

    Anyone else get told this??

    • AGF

I’ve heard it all at my DT. I don’t even bother with coupons there anymore because it isn’t worth the hassle for me. I would try to contact their corporate or district manager for a copy of their own coupon policy. That was the only way I could use coupons at my store; to point out that they were not following policy. :/

      • JA

I don’t bother either. It has to be exactly what’s pictured on the coupon or they won’t take it. I swear I can see the fear in their eyes when I hand over a coupon. Too stressful for me!

        • Steph

Found crest toothpaste in a 4.3 ounce tube so I was able to use the .50 coupons. Also found softsoap refill bottle that was 11.5 ounce and the $1/1 coupon worked so free. Always stock up on cards when I am there.

  23. Cat

Hghhhbbbg to get the get abc

  24. Denise G.

Coupons.com has Gerber coupons right now for even more savings on the Little Who’s.

  25. Izzy

Off topic, just wonder if anyone have gap cash that expire I’m a few hours that they don’t use. Thanks

    • holly

      Just sent you mine.

  26. Aryanna

I found some “As Seen on TV” products at Dollar Tree last week. I got the Bacon Bowl, Phantom Saucer, Wraptastic, Air Curler, Hot Buns and Stone Wave.

    • Jaime

I got the Stove Wave microwave cooker yesterday. Now sure if it will work very well, but for $1 … I looked it up in Amazon and the price was $6.99.

  27. Rachel

I recently saw at my dollar tree a bunch of as seen on tv products that are 9.99 and up at a regular store. They had the bacon bowl, wraptastic, phantom saucer, stone wave cooker.

I was there earlier tonight and found Physician’s Formula powder compacts. Thought it was an amazing deal for a dollar. When I was looking at the packaging after I got home, I noticed it said to use the included applicator brush for applying, but there wasn’t one in the compact (which you could easily see before buying due to clear compact). I’m guessing that’s why they ended up at DT. Still a great deal, as I usually use a separate long-handle powder brush anyway. 🙂 Love DT!! I’m always amazed at the things I find there! Oh, and it’s a great place to get inexpensive dog toys, especially ropes.

  31. v

The Super Pretzel bites are tasty. I loved the cheese filled variety. Did not care for the plain unstuffed ones. Tasted too much like sour….dough.
Bought the bacon bowls last weekend. Haven’t tried them yet.
Also came across those Microwave cooking ceramic pot things. As seen on TV product. Haven’t tried it yet. But for a buck, couldn’t resist it.
They had Smart View sunglasses in the 4 for $1 clearance basket at the front of the store. Got them to put in fishing tackle bags. I don’t expect them to last forever, but they can fill a need when out fishing. Hopefully cut the glare from the water way down.

  32. Becky

I think the Super Pretzels coupon from the newspaper excludes the bags. ???

  33. jhnicole

Becky my q says not valid on 7oz-9oz bags 50/1 may be regional.thanks for the tip on shoprite Desiree.thanks pp for the cosmetic tips.I want the Essie and sally nail strips.I had Essie before they were awesome.

  34. jackie

Shopped dollar tree fir yrs.if you see name brand stuff stock up on it.because those sell out first.finally in my small town one will be open next month.cannot wait.went to another town yesterday for a doctor’s appointments.stopped at DT bought some Colgate 2ounce sensitive.should have gotten more.4 ounce sells for over3 dollars.nothing wrong with bread.same stuff at the bread store.just look at date.I buy at least 6 loaves and freeze.

  35. ashley

my son who loves owls and loves eating goldfish crackers will not touch those owl crackers. it makes no sense. I need to figure out if this is one of the dollar stores I have and check it out next week though for other deals

    • AGF

Have you tried them? My kids wouldn’t touch them either. When I tried one to see what the deal was, the crackers were super bland. I know they’re made for toddlers but they were not good. We also tried the broccoli and cheese twists. They smelled horrid and didn’t taste much better. These are a miss from Gerber, unfortunately. 🙁 Bummer.

    • MommySpendsLess

I bought some for my kindergartener who takes an afternoon snack to school, often Goldfish. I tried them myself and they were a bit more dense than Goldfish and the flavor was a little bland by comparison but they weren’t bad. My daughter seemed to like them for about a week then she saw the package and decided they were for toddlers and doesn’t want them anymore 🙁

    • Elizabeth

My toddler is obsessed with cheese and does like these. She eats Annie’s bunnies, Goldfish crackers, Cheez-its, or these and doesn’t seem to have a preference.

  36. Cassandra White

They have all those things at the Dollar Tree!!! Wow!!!

  37. Callie

I feel like they never have good stuff at the DT’s in the city! Does anyone go to one in Chicago that is good? I often visit the one at Western/Lawrence and they rarely have name brand things, and I have never seen bread!

    • Ana

The one at 6 corners is okay. There is a new big one off Lawrence and Pulaski in the city. There’s also one on foster and milwaukee that is pretty big.

  38. L

I got like 5 Stonewaves for my home and family. They all love them. Same thing at Grocery Store for $12. I also get Gain dryer sheets, and they have Estrecell sponges that a 50 cents off 2 coupon works. My DT scans them so there isn’t any problem about matching to the item.
Also, they have amazing insulated hot and cold bags near the frozen foods. They last a long time and are made very nice and insulated. I keep them in my car for cold items I get grocery shopping.
The Bacon bowls can also be used with bread or dough.

  39. Krista

My DT had almost all of these items! They had Clif bars for $1 each. Not sure if that’s a good deal or not. They also had a few months before expiration. DT has awesome stuff!

  40. Kira

I have never seen any of the name brand makeup like Maybelline or Essie. All the really nice deals never seem to be available at either DT I go to.

  41. Laura

Can I see a pic of the kcups please
