is it ONLY on the LIGHT kind?
    THanks!!

    • Rebecca

      Yup, only the light kind

  2. Kristen

Is .79 a price cut everywhere? These are normally $1.69 at my store so that’s a pretty steep cut

  3. Bev

Watch your receipts. Target is being sued because they have been charging customers more than the advertised prices at the register. (Star. Tribune today)

    Identity theft issues
    Lay off 550 people
Move IT out of the country (India)
    Cheat customers

Sell a 29 cent jar of Ragu but sacrifice 550 jobs.
    Good job Target…ugg

    • Mel

That happens all the time at other stores as well. Safeway has been already sued a long time ago. Walmart still does it. And with ID theft, no one is safe. Kmart, Sears, Home Depot, Walmart, Amazon and many more, they all have been victims to ID theft. Sometimes a business has to lay off people, maybe those were seasonal workers? And I have an great example right now with lay offs. I am pretty sure everyone is happy with gas prices being so low, but not the people in Kern County, CA, where over 1000s have been laid off because of that. Companies and businesses do that all the time to protect themselves. Me, as a small business owner, I would do the same thing if I would have to face a situation similar to that.
Prices have to be adjusted in their system. Who is in charge of computers? Humans. Humans make mistakes all the time.

      • Samuel

And for that reason I would not shop at your business, EVER!
Companies screw consumers all the time….but when they get caught according to you it’s OK!

        • Laura

Samuel, did you actually read what Mel wrote? If I’m correct in what I read, Mel was saying that sometimes prices go up and down I a business. Gas was purchased high, now they are losing money. Hence the lay offs.

          • Mel

            Yes, thank you!

        • Mel

Please re-read my comment and pay attention to the paragraphs. I understand Target for laying off people, moving (heck my state charges the crap out me!) and that one thing does not have to do with another.

Now regarding Price Accuracy: Errors happens. In this case it happened to Target, a nationwide retailer. Yes, I have been overcharged 10 cents more here and there, but how many times have Target gave me overage (I recall that one mobile coupon where it took the highest amount off for a watch instead the lowest one and Target honored it), scanned accidently a coupon to much or an item actually rings up way less, or an items placed in my cart by an employee without even being scanned. It is still a computer operated by humans.
It happens everywhere with retailers, restaurants, even with doctor visits. All I do is keep my eyes open, and that’s the best way to protect myself.

Just noticed the applesauce I bought yesterday ran up regular price even though it is on price cut till March. Do you think Target will adjust the price when I go back next week?

      • Laura

Sometimes their price drops don’t last the full length of time. Ziplock bags were pulled early.
If the price drops signs were still on the shelf, but corporate changed it – these things happen.

I for one am very thankful for target.
I have yet to shop at any other store that allows for as many coupons and discounts in one transaction. And thanks to Collin and her team for pointing them out.

    • Kayla

I live near the corporate headquarters and my local news reported the layoffs were mostly due to closing stores in Canada. I love Target, I hope they pull through the rough patch!

    • Gretchen

I always check my receipt before I walk out, and if there is an error, the customer service desk always gives me cash back for the difference no matter how I paid. They are always very nice about it, and very trusting of their customers. I would never take advantage of it, but I am very thankful to how loyal they are to their couponing customers!

      • Gretchen

Also, I was overcharged at Safeway once, and customer service gave me back the difference plus a $5 gift card, they said that was there policy when ever it was a computer error – so I don’t think any stores want to over charge you and lose your business.

  4. Pamela

Just checked my local stores, it’s $1.60 each, on price cut from $1.69. LOL

  5. Brooke

I’m pretty sure that’s a mistake. The regular price says .84! Not anywhere around me in central IN would I ever find anything close to that price, even on sale.

    • Kristen

Same here! Like close to $2!

  6. Gretchen

Just did thus deal today and no jar was less than $1.60, but I did get a Catalina for $1 off 3 blue boxes of Barilla, so I will probably do the deal again before it expires.

  7. Shebella

Wow I noticed the braces in your video. What a cool way to spend less than $20 and have fun doing it. Here’s to loving your videos.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awww… thanks! 🙂

  8. Melissa lohrey

Total stock up price as I just paid 1.69 for one jar at kroger for dinner tonight 🙂

  9. Britt

There’s also $1/2 Ragu product coupons from a previous RP insert ( I’m assuming it’s regional) so you’d pay $.90 for all ten jars after two coupons and $5 Target gift card.

  10. brindha

How does this taste? Any feedback would be appreciated! TIA.

    • brit

      Like plastic liquid!

    • Shaleigh

Brindha, my family likes this Alfredo sauce. It’s a quick easy meal for our family and even at full price, it’s a cheaper than eating out. The lite version isn’t as creamy as homemade but flavor is good. You can add chicken if you have time but I just heat this up and serve with linguine and garlic bread.

    • brindha

      Thanks for the feedback….

    It’s 1.51 here. 🙁

Something is up with Target and their signage. Last week, they had Kraft parm cheese the regular 8 oz sizes for $1.68. I bought only one on a Wednesday and used the $.75 off coupon. When I went back on Friday they were back up to regular price, but sign on Wednesday said sale price was valid all week plus it was part of the gift card promo. Same thing happened with the Glad storage bags.

They also had signage saying the new bags of Annie’s extra cheddar bunnies were $1.01,but when I scanned them they were regular price. So i just put them back because I was in hurry. And, yes they were the correct bags, Just weird pricing on things lately there.

  13. sharon

Do you use all the stuff you buy? For me to buy all that stuff would be a waste. I spend way more than $20 but I get stuff I use. I am going to check into the Pepsi deal.

  14. sharon

On the Pepsi cartwheel it says 15% on 4. Does that mean you get 15% off up to 4 bought or you have to buy 4 to get 15%? Thanks.

    • Denise

      Up to 4

  15. Kevin

Kind of off topic but has anyone seen the motts blueberry Apple sauce at their target stores? I find it quite odd that none of the 10 targets nearest me has it. Also can I use coupons at Walmart if I were to price match the applesauce deal? Did Walmart publish anything saying they allow coupons in addition to price matching so I can show the cashier? I have a feeling they won’t let me price match and use coupons. Thanks!

    • shirley

I believe Walmart PM on advertised products and Motts applesauce in this case is not found on the flyers.

      • shirley

Never mind. You can PM online price. I don’t see why Walmart won’t let you use coupons too.

        • Kevin

thanks! my local target didnt let me price match and use coupons so i just have a bad feeling walmart is going to be the same issue. 🙁

          • BAXTER

I have had AWFUL experiences pming at Walmart and using coupons! Beware! 😕

    • Ruthi

We found the Motts Blueberry applesauce at Walmart and yes, our Walmart is super good 99% of the time (usually a new cashier if there is an issue) with price matching and coupons—–unlike Target.

      • Kevin

        Thanks for letting me know!

  16. Emily

$0.75 off 2 coupon in this weeks redplum insert. Just a heads up. Using 4 (target’s max), and assuming this price with the gift card, would make this a 10 cent money maker. 🙂
