My goal for the new year is 10:00 or less for a mile. I started back in October at 12:44 and as of today I’m at 10:32. I’m super proud of myself! Having a monitor to track my time has made it so much better because I try and beat my time each time I run!

    • Shel

That’s wonderful, Jennifer! Keep up the great work!

    • Apryl Townsend Barnes

Jennifer is this walking or running time?

      • Jennifer w

Ouch, this is running haha. But on some elevation pushing my 3 year old in a stroller… 😉

        • Apryl Townsend Barnes

Oh Jennifer I didnt mean to offend you!! I just thought if it was “walking” time you must really be “wogging” because that is a very fast mile for walking. I can do a mile in 15 minutes but that is really pushing it for me. You go girl!! I know your little one loves having this time with you! (Did I get my foot out or put it in farther? lol)

          • Jennifer

Ha, no worries. I’ve been working on it for about 2 years. I used to never run, but then I started walking with a girlfriend and before long we were “woggling” as you put it (ha) so I just started jogging and before long I was really making progress. The point was though, when I got my app to track my time, things just got better because I used it to start challenging myself to beat my time each time I ran. So, whoever wins this fitbit will be on their way to success if they use it right ;).
