What is the quality in these???
Brawny is my all time fave paper towel. But I rarely buy it because it is so expensive. I think they are really good quality. Don’t know about the Sparkle, though.

Kirkland’s paper towels are just under 1 cent/ sheet (without coupons) last time I checked, so this is a better deal. Plus, I don’t have to have a huge package of paper towels taking up most of my cart space, so I’m really happy to have it come to my door at this price 🙂

FYI, I had an issue trying to check out as a guest but once I set up an account it processed fine. Before I created an acct I went to chat support and they entered the order for me but said they would have someone call me to process the order as they cant take it. how good of a deal is this? I can’t recall good price points for paper towels
My price point is usually 60 cents a roll for stock up. I purchased the Brawny towels because the total number of paper towels per package is 1,224 which is a good deal for me since I love Brawny! 12 rolls times 102 feet per roll is 1,224 for $7.99 is pretty awesome!

Has anyone gotten these yet? My order says it’s been short shipped and back ordered. I have been charged but I’m a bit confused about the short shipped part because it says it’s been delivered which is wrong.

Mine was cancelled too, but then reinstated today without the discount. They charged me 55$ without notifying me. When I called they first told me that it had shipped so they couldn’t refund the overcharge, then told me no it was still back ordered.
I too was charged 56.10 today after being charged 34.50 on the 23rd. When I called paypal, they said that OD cancelled the 34.50 payment and was now charging me 56.10. Since it has already shipped, I have to refuse the order and wait 7-14 days for a refund. I never authorized the higher charge. I hate Office Depot.
I received a confirmation today and was charged the $56. I called and said the $20 coupon was not applied and they said once I receive it they can credit me the $20. Hope they do or I will be returning it.

Ok that’s fine cancel my order, but don’t charge me full price if I didn’t authorize it! Called and they noted my account and I have to call back to get coupon refunded….never again!!!
I called today and they told me–I had to wait till order arrives then call back and they will refund the $20 although technically should be $20 + tax on that $20. I cannot believe they are allowed to cancel an order then place a new order for you and charge your card. That seems illegal to me–and it’s very upsetting. I don’t ever plan to purchase from them again. Bad business practice.
update–order arrived 20 minutes ago–I immediately called office depot and they credited my card back for the difference $20 + tax.
I can’t get over this! I called for the refund, they said it would appear, and still not refund. AND they charged even more than the 2nd charge of of 50.88. I will NEVER buy from this company again!
I just received an email from Office Depot saying that my order has now shipped and of course with the new amount of $56.12. I am trying to dispute this with their customer service stating it was cancelled back in February, I will also be disputing it with Paypal and contacting the BBB. I also will never do business with Office Depot. Fraudulent and unethical to create a new order and charge the customer more $ that was not authorized.
I was told by Office Depot that – due to overwhelming demand because they were incorrectly priced – the paper towels were on back order and would ship as soon as more inventory arrives. They said “your credit card will not be charged until the merchandise is shipped” BUT they failed to tell me that they’d tack on an additional $21.40 WITHOUT my authorization. When I called (I foolishly thought this would be easily resolved by them simply issuing me a refund for $21.40) they told me I’d have to call back AFTER the paper towels arrived and then request a refund. I asked them to cancel my order and – guess what – this involves more work my end. I have to either wait in all day and refuse the order (in this high tech era apparently Office Depot are unable to stop the order before delivery) or, if I’m not in and they’re delivered, contact them again and arrange for the paper towels to be picked up. So one way or another it looks like I’m going to lose a day waiting in. On top of that I have to wait for several weeks for all my money to be returned including the money they took without permission. I asked their Representative, again, if there was no possible way of stopping the shipment before it was delivered but I gather the answer was no because her response was ………. CLICK!!! Yep, she hung up on me – way to go Office Depot, first make me wait two months for my order, then overcharge me a whopping $21.40, then make me jump through hoops to resolve the issue and finally hang up on me! From now on, I’ll vote with my feet and go elsewhere; somewhere they have a slightly less unique way of doing business!
I just tried to call and they told me to call when I received the order because mine is still processing and they can credit me then. She said she couldn’t process a credit when the order was still in process. I was charged the correct price for the paper towels but they failed to take off the $20 coupon so I will try to call them back & see what happens. The lady on they phone was very nice and apologetic so hopefully they will be that way when I call them again.
Office Depot strikes again……I received yet another new order# from Office Depot (on my 3rd order number) and ship date. This was after dealing with customer service several weeks ago cancelling the last one they “re-issued”. They tell me each time the order has been cancelled, but a couple weeks later I will get an email with a new order number and ship date and try and charge me the $56.12. I don’t know what to do at this point. Do I actually let them ship it and refuse the delivery? What if I’m not home? I have told them repeatedly I am NEVER doing business with them again, this has been a nightmare.
Odd thing is…..I look at the order history under my Office Depot account and none of these orders are listed, not even the original from February.
I got my first email today about my order being processed and then shipping out. Also shows $56 “pending” on my visa acct. I called they let me cancel and I got a cancellation number. Received an email today stating the order shipped, though they reassured me it was cancelled. Unreal. Sure enough the money was deducted from my account. I am disputing those charges. I am beyond fed up with Office Depot. I am on the phone with customer service now and told her this order has been cancelled several times, most recently yesterday. Her reply “so you want the paper towels, right?”. There is a major communication gap going on here because of the language barrier besides the fraudulent business practice with Office Depot.
Exact thing happened to me. Got an email yesterday saying it was being shipped for over $56. I called Tues to cancel and CS took my info and gave me a cancellation number. Then several hours later I got another email saying “Sorry but since it is coming by UPS we cannot cancel. Just refuse the delivery when it comes.” Nope. Can’t do it. Won’t be home. I work 9-6. So now what? It was 4 packs or 12 rolls. Right? At $1 each it would be $48. Forgot what we were going to pay. $28? Maybe if they charge me $20 I may keep it. Otherwise I’ll leave it on my porch and they can arrange to pick it up. A store is 45 mins away!
I just got a call and email about this order today. I, too, was going to be charged full-price. I thought the order had been canceled due to being out of stock, as I never heard from them until now, so I already got a better deal on paper towels from the Target post a couple of weeks ago. Luckily, I had changed credit cards, so they weren’t able to successfully charge me. When I called them back they were able to cancel the order pretty quickly with no fuss. Was on the phone for less than 5 mins. Thank goodness! Can’t believe it took them so long to communicate with us on this back order issue & how they tried to charge the full price. 🙁 Will be weary of Office Depot from now on…
OK. Latest update lol: I got a text saying my order had been delivered to my front porch (I am at work). So I called AGAIN and they gave me ANOTHER cancelation # and said that UPS will pick it up Monday. When they receive the packages at their warehouse, they will credit my visa for $56 and it will post a few days after that. She asked me why I was refusing the order (she said she would apply the $20 qpon) and I told her that all I received was a confirmation email that my order was placed. Nothing about it being back-ordered and charging me more when it ships. I told her I did not think that the company should just add more money without asking me first. End of story. Hopefully!
I’ve already put a dispute thru to Paypal for the $56.12…..stating I didn’t authorize the amount. You can see on the transaction that I authorized it originally for only $30.xx plus tax. Waiting on my delivery and hope to be home so I can refuse the shipment, otherwise I’ll have to arrange for them to pickup as well and I’ve had my fill of dealing with their “customer service” lol.
Just got a call from “quality control” about me rating the agent that helped me today. I said I would prob give her a 5 but would give the company a zero! Lol

Welcome to the club haha! If u are home, just refuse the package. If u aren’t home, just call and have them arrange to come pick them up like I did. They will hopefully credit your acct when they receive it back (like they told me).
My UPS shipment hasn’t showed up yet….I’m wondering if they got a hold of them and cancelled the delivery. It was on the truck this morning. Gee, it looks like they are actually able to cancel the delivery despite what they say. I’m guessing they are saying that in hopes you will change your mind and keep the order.
Check around the outside of your house, re-check the tracking to see if it says delivered. Just guessing. Good luck.
