Almost pointless being a gold card member I got better offers and freebies when I wasn’t. They are so concerned with new members but rewards are so few now.
That’s why I made a new account! I get better offer as a welcome member than a gold!
Is this for new rewards members only, or can existing rewards members get this deal as well?

Kind of on topic but I just became a gold card member a month ago but am unsure how to switch over to my gold card. Will I lose all my rewards and stars on my other card? I’ve been nervous about it so just haven’t got around to it!
Once I finally reached my gold level it took them what seemed like a long time to send me my gold card in the mail. You just use your normal card until you get the gold one, they really do the same thing in your Starbucks account as long as your card is registered for you.
call customer service………………….i had to a couple of months ago because somehow over the years my account had 2 emails linked to it & i was not able to use offers [it was strange], but i called, they nicely consolidated the offers and eliminated 1 email.

My old cards are still active. Gold card to me just acts like another gift card. After I finish my other cards I will only use the gold card.
Go to your account online, make sure your gold card is registered on your account and you can transfer everything over. You won’t lose a thing. If you have questions, call their customer service – they are very helpful!
If you have received your gold card, you should see your card under your account already with a balance of 1 cent. Take it with you to Starbucks(or do it online) and have them switch over the balance remaining to the Gold card. Also, I believe it is best to make your Gold Card your default one. All your stars etc will be safe😀
Ha am i the only person that has never signed up for starbucks rewards? I dont drink coffee and never a $5 one at that. Lol but 2free drinks doesnt sound bad might sign up. Thx collin
You are not alone…I hate coffee. I am an iced tea fanatic though…Starbucks has good iced tea. I only go there if I get a great gift card deal though and haven’t signed up for the rewards program yet either. Getting two free drinks is tempting!
Not a Starbucks fan here. I love coffee but not theirs and I won’t pay the price for it either.
You’ll be floored with the elite coffee shops Starbucks is building in big cities then. They’re doing a new shop referred to as “Reserve” and it will likely cost over $20/cup. $5 doesn’t look so bad when you consider their new stores will be selling at insane prices ha
Coffee at SB doesn’t cost $5. Drinks with artificial ingredients that people like to say is their morning coffee cost $5. Or more.
I don’t drink coffee either but I love Starbucks for an occasional treat….here’s a tip, almost anything on the menu can be made with milk instead of coffee. When I go, I order a Carmel Creme frappachino (I think I spelled that SO wrong…lol!!!) and just tell them to make it with milk, no coffee and it’s basically a Carmel milkshake. It is super yummy!!
Thx will try that when i go with my girls for cafe that i dont even drink. Lol i still think $5 is crazy cant imagine $20 for a cup

When you click the link in the post above, you’ll be directed to the Zulily and you’ll then need to sign into your existing Zulily account or create a new one if you’ve never been a Zulily member. Once you have signed into your Zulily account, just click back on the link in the post above and you’ll be directed to the Starbucks offer.
You have to log in at Zulily at first, and the starbucks screen shows up. 😛 I had the same problem.

Click on Collin’s link, then click on “zulily” (upper left of screen). It will take you to the home page, where the Starbucks offer is located.
No you won’t on the Starbucks website. It’s on zulily you have to scroll down a little maybe try a computer not on your phone.
I wonder if you can use the free drinks at Teavana too? The ones I get from my rewards stars can be used there. YUM!
So I have done this, clicked I have a card never got to where you type the card number. So I tried to sign in on starbucks website, said I didn’t have an account. Checked my email, no email saying I signed up. Went to reenter my info from th sulkily link, and it won’t let me.

I have tried this several times this morning and I never get a link that says “sign up.” They both say “shop now” and take me back to the zulily main page for new items today. I am logged in to zulily because my name is at the top of the screen. What am I doing wrong?

Starbucks wants new customers. I an also a gold card member and rarely receive deals. Dunkin Donuts us better! 😉
Can you opt for a digital card or do you have to actually go and purchase a card and register that in order to receive the two free drinks? TIA
If you live in an area where the only Starbucks are at Safeway, then the free drinks won’t work on your card as the Safeway Baristas can’t access the codes. But you can call the Starbucks CS line AFTER the free drinks expire and they will load $5 per drink onto your card. You can’t live near a regular Starbucks store to get the cash replacement for free offers. I wait until I have 2 or 3 expired offers and have them loaded at one time to make the phone call worth my while.
It is still working, but apparently doesn’t work with Chrome. I opened up Firefox and copy and pasted the link and had no further problems
