Walmart: Possible Urbini Touri Travel System Only $50 (Reg. $149) + More Clearance Finds
Check out what Hip2Save reader, Almond, found at Walmart:
[h2s_box]Hi, Collin! I was at my local Walmart in McHenry, Illinois. They just put out this clearance display. There were some awesome deals on baby gear (including strollers and car seats). I don’t know if it is everywhere though, but definitely worth checking! I found an Urbini Touri Compact Travel System (car seat and stroller) for only $50 (reg. $149), a Graco Snugride Classic Connect 30 for $40 (reg. $99.98), a Cosco Comuter Compact LC-22 for $50 (Reg. $109) and a Graco Snugride Classic Connect 35 for only $50 (reg. $139.88)! Awesome deals! ๐ [/h2s_box]
* Please note that Walmart clearance can vary greatly by region.
(Thanks, Almond!)
I also found baby girl onesies today that rang up for .32. One was red with lady bugs that said love bug on it the other was white with a sparkly heart that said love. They had a heart on the price tag and were mixed in with other regular price merchandise.
I found there were a lot of toys on clearance anywhere from 20-90% off at my local walmart in Northern California. Quite a variety of toy types, although one thing I noticed was a lot of Mike the Knight toys. They were all grouped together in a “clearance” section near the other toys.
Where in northern Cali?
Do Walmarts typically have a section for clearance or is it just within aisles? (Are clearance toys at the end of the toy aisles? Is there a separate area for clearance?)
At my store in PA toys are in an aisle by lawn and garden. The baby clearance items are in the baby department.
that’s how my store in pa is as well. Although the last time I was there they were putting the stuff in the lawn and garden for spring so what was left of the clearance toys were in the middle of the rows. I saw the clearance travel systems… sure wish there were some convertible car seats instead!
I have this travel system and I want to say that I absolutely LOVE it! This is my 3rd child so I have experience in this department, and I’ll say that the stroller handles better and smoother than any other I’ve ever had. The carrier/carseat part is lighter by far without sacrificing safety and integrity. I paid $150 for this item and felt it was very much worth it, so for $50, if you can find it, snag it! Also, I love that the stroller resembles a pram which gives it a vintage feel for me.
Are you talking about Urbini Touri?
I saw the urbini yesterday for $80 in Indy. So it’s still a great deal but not quite as nice as $50.
I saw this post last night and was very excited about checking out my local Walmart. I had looked at the urbini car seat and stroller but felt that the car seat padding was very thin so instead I bought the Baby Trend inertia car seat for $129. I went this morning and the same car seat was marked down to $70 so the manager ended up refunding me the price I paid for it!! Thanks for sending in the updated prices.
I went to my walmart and the urbini touri is $112. I asked if they were going on clearance and was told they did the clearance 2 weeks ago. ๐
same here in Upstate NY
Graco Spree Classic Connect travel system (car seat and stroller) on sale for only $69. It didn’t have a “clearance” sticker but seemed like a good deal.
My walmart had the Graco Spree Classic Connect travel system (car seat and stroller) for $50 in the “Milton Collection” color, also not marked, I just started scanning all the “Classic Connect” systems ๐
went to walmart today, and bought zippered pajamas with the feet in them for 2.00.
Also found 3t jeans or 3.00.
How often does WalMart do markdowns? And usually on which day of the week??
