Got these the last time the deal was posted and the horizontal shelves are hollow. I would have returned them if I would have paid full price. So far they are working well for what I am using them for, just don’t expect to put anything heavy on them.

Still available for store pick up. Might have to make the 30 mile drive and pick one up. Not to go too far off topic, but does anyone have any tips for keeping toddler/preschooler toys organized? My daughter seems to have like a million little toys are they’re always all mixed up and usually looks like a hurricane went through them a few times! Drives me crazy!!

I bought a bunch of cloth baskets from tj maxx and also the plastic storage bins with kids from target and we actually keep them all on a bunch of different book shelves. πŸ™‚ they’re all a bit different but my daughter likes knowing she can look at the outside and know what’s in it instead of having to open each one to find what she wants

The plastic ones with kids at target are usually like $4-7 depending on the size

I use baby wipe boxes. I know it’s not pretty and you have to open one to see what’s inside, but they’re free. The dollar tree has plastic shoe boxes w/ lids so you can see through. They also had some cute spring time color handled baskets, but they were pretty small.

Those square gallon buckets of ice cream at Wal-Mart are great also. Love the lids, handle, and that they can stack.

your kids can follow the toy rules if you put pictures on the front of the bins. books in books, blocks in blocks, puzzles, etc. also works for gifts- they love to see their face on a present!
