Is this offer good in store too, or just online?
Found my answer- valid in store too!!
I can’t believe that with the outrage of parents of girls and from the girls , after all the emails that have been written about not having enough of female lego characters like fire/police person, about the ‘cool’ legos being aimed only at boys…., and with the great demand for female scientist set that they made only a limited edition.. Lego instead of heeding parents and kids’ requests, makes lego friends even worse. Those new lego dollies for girls are awful. I won’t buy a single lego friends set for my daughter for sure. She’s inheriting my ‘vintage’ regular legos my sister and I had tons of fun with, a whole lego city with not a dash of pink in it.
To each their own. I personally would have loved to have had the chance to have pink and purple Legos as a child. I played with the ‘classic’ Legos and loved them, but as a girlie girl who loved the whole color spectrum and still does, I would have jumped at the chance to buy these as a kid. Regardless of the fact that some characters are career driven or just plain stereotypical ‘girlie’. My daughter plays with the friends sets and the classic Legos and joins them together and plays with lord of the ring Lego characters in her friends boutique mall. Who cares! She obviously doesn’t!
