Any one know how strict they are with age?

    • Amy

Our store is not strict about age (in CA), but the wait is so long that for us, it is not really worth it. We have to get there at least 2 hours early to guarantee a spot. That is a long wait for the kiddos!

What store in CA do you go to??

          San Jose

At the store I go to they are picky about age,, we waited in line for 1 hr and they didn’t give it to us, totally disappointed my 4 year old

My store in WA is great. I called ahead to verify age and they said even if my kids are younger (they’re 3 and 5) and interested in legos, they’re welcome to participate. We arrive about half hour early and wait, but it’s worth the wait and we’ve never been turned away.

I asked the people who work at the Lego store and they said they’re not supposed to give it out to kids younger than 6. All the times my 6 year old niece has waited in line, they ran out right before she got one cause they gave it to kids still in strollers. That could be a choking hazard.

I am sad for your niece but I do think that it should be first come first serve, and if a 3 or 4 year old has been in line waiting what is wrong with that? It’s like the deals we get here, there is a limit sometimes but we find ways of going around it, ie using other computers to print more coupons

First time at one of these events today (Boston). Kids loved it. Had a 3 and 7 year old. Line was long but it goes by pretty fast.
