Has anyone tried this and the coupons work/not beep? My stores are crazy and won’t accept them if they beep

    • HW

I just went to Wags for some stuff and decided to try this deal….their rewards system is down and not giving points or allowing the use of points. I have to call customer service tomorrow to get my sunscreen points added. This Q did beep, but manager pushed it through.

I went to my Walgreens this morning and the register said does not match items. So I didn’t get the deal.

Same here. I was annoyed. First they said it was because the coupon says CVS, then they said I had to buy large bags. So I bought them anyway since I had already been holding up the line, but I’m going to return them anyway. I pointed out that it had no size restrictions, but the manager wouldn’t ok it. I can not wait for the new CVS to open here. I may never go to Walgreens again.

I went to cvs today and they had the mm’s filled eggs 2/1 so I got 4 and the coupon worked just fine no beeps or problems. 4 eggs for free!

  4. sue

I bought six of the little bags of Lifesavers jellybeans and six of the starburst little bags of jellybeans and they were all free. The coupon scanned as not matching what I bought but The cashier just overrode it

  5. BAXTER

    Are these at Walmart?

2 fails at Walgreens and a win at CVS…..no comparison..Wags stinks and CVS is so much better

I was successful at Target using the coupon!

    • Margarito

Did it beep at the Cashier?

      • Amy

The coupon beeped for me at Target today but the cashier pushed it through.

        • BrandyLea

It didn’t beep at the Target I went to. I was kind of surprised. Amy did you buy the M&Ms or Starbursts? I only purchased the M&Ms.

          • Amy

I purchased the Starburst jelly bean eggs.

            • mel

The coupon is only coded for M&Ms brand products. Starburst & Life Savers have a different family code, that’s why it beeps. I had no problem buying 8 M&M eggs, they are ringing up 2/$1, so 8 free!

            • mel

              at CVS they’re 2/$1!

I got 12 m&m eggs free at cvs (they were 2/$1 and so 4 were free with each coupon) and they did not beep and they also had life saver little bags of jelly beans for 2/$1 that would work with the coupons too, but I had already gotten 12 (6 life savers, 6 starburst) at wags earlier today free

  9. Tracey K

Kmart would not accept this coupon because it says CVS. I was even buying the full sized bags of candy and they still wouldn’t take it.

  10. BAXTER

Is the 2/1.00 at cvs a regional deal? Thanks!

    • qwho continuum (@qwho1)

no idea, the m&m eggs were regular price 1.19 and scanned 2/$1and were not in the ad

  11. michele

I just went to CVS they are $2/1 there, I got 2 big bags of M&M’s and 7 of the eggs, used 4 $2 coupons, paid $1.58 and got a $2.00 extra buck for the two bags of M&M’s
    on the way back!!

  12. Chelsie

Tried to use the coupon at walgreens and it wouldn’t scan. First they said it was cause the amount was more than I was purchasing but then showed them it did add up to more than $2 then they said it was because its a cvs coupon so I tried to explain that its not specifically for cvs and its a manufacturer coupon. The manager came down at this point the two people trying to help were nice and she comes over and was just unnecessarily rude. Decided I’ve finally had it with walgreens their customer service in general is awful especially the pharmacy staff I’ve dealt with.

  13. Angela

I used them at my CVS, which did have them unadvertised/unsigned @ 2/$1, to get 8 eggs for free with 2 coupons. They did beep, and cashier did question the coupon (in every possible way– “one per purchase,” the small size of the items, etc.), but he eventually pushed them through. And good thing, because I know there was nothing wrong with using that coupon, and I would not have left there without a fight, lol! He then reviewed my receipt in detail afterward and was puzzled at the fact that the receipt didn’t indicate why the coupon had beeped!!! So clearly he had no idea what he was doing.

  14. Tammera

I was turned away at Walgreens, too. The reason was that they won’t accept coupons that exceed the selling price of an item, which is what it says on their website. I’m headed to Target. Thanks for your input!
