I received the same items yesterday in my beauty box. While I’m always excited to get samples/freebies in the mail, I was a little bummed with this one. This wasn’t the best beauty box I’ve received from Walmart…in the past I’ve received full size products and really nice deluxe size samples. I’ll still promote this because it’s always been a hit with me in the past! I’ll also get next season and hope it’s as good as the previous boxes. 🙂
Cancelled my subscription. First box was great, second one never arrived and the tracking number they provided DIDN’T EXIST which raised flags at USPS. Multiple calls to number provided (this is through Walmart but it is a third party doing the fulfillment) was answered by what sounded like someone at their home ~just said “hello”, no business name. CS person asked me multiple times to spell simple words for them…no call back…no box. CC company stepped in and got same weird CS interaction and refunded my $$.
I am happy for those enjoying the boxes but I would advise to keep an eye on CC statements and make sure you do continue to receive the boxes as sent.
My credit card was double charged last time and I had the same awful customer service experience. Finally had to fine a credit dispute with the bank to get it resolved.

I was charged in oct for the first box didnt get it till dec then again in jan charged again never received a box now I notice another charge on my cc so in total charged 3 times only received 1 box 🙁
I never recieved my second box either. I paid for it, eveb checked my bank statement, webite sas it shipped, but tracking number doesn’t work. Apparently the tracking number doesn’t exist. So, I emailed customer service about it three times in 10 days and have not heard back at all. I’m getting frustrated. I either want a replacement box or my money back. If it isn’t resolved soon,I will be cancelling this. Not worth the hassle.

I received these items and thought it wasn’t worth it. Most of these trial sizes were free in the past. My first box was very good though. I will give it one more try.

Wasn’t impressed with this one. Hardly worth the money. I’ll see what the next one is like but if not any better, I’m canceling.

I am giving my honest opinion – but I don’t think these boxes are worth the $5 price so I have cancelled after receiving two boxes. This last time it was mostly items that you receive as free samples plus a few coupons. Judge for yourself but look carefully at the sample items received in the last picture posted – It was mostly paper coupons…..
Another comment for disliking this months box. This was the worst one yet by far. The “value” of the box should exceed the monthly fee, this months does not even come close. They will get 1 more month out of me and if it’s as bad as March, I will be canceling as well. Compared to previous boxes value, this is “bait and switch” tactics. A few <$1 trial-size items and some magazine samples are just not worth it.
I wonder the value, too, but then again Walmart’s is only $5 and other ones like Birchbox are $10. I have tried 2 months of Birchbox and I have been really disappointed. I am giving it one more month but for $30 I could have bought A LOT in stores. I won’t even use the Birchbox stuff. So, for me, $5 seems so much cheaper. I enjoy hearing the perspectives if other H2S readers, though. 🙂
Was very disappointed in this box all the samples were basically the ones they give out for free and to me the first one was way better this one was terrible…
I did not sign up for this, but I think its mostly coupons. As for the items, I think I did better by getting full size Loreal bottles at CVS for 50 cents a piece. But that’s just my opinion.

I will also be cancelling after this box. I am so much happier with Birchbox and Target’s Christmas beauty boxes. What can you really expect from Walmart…
Seems to be only samples and not one full size item doesn’t appear to be worth $5 at all.

I was happy with my first two boxes, but very disappointed with box. I could have gotten full size bottles of the three sample items that I received for less than the cost of the shipping using coupons. This will be my last box.
I got mine today I am canceling also. Its just 5 mini samples and 5 one time samples. Not worth it. You can get them in the $bin at Walmart.
The box in the reader’s picture looks like something I would be highly disappointed I spent $5 on! At first glance the pic of the summer box looks like it’d be great… Like there’s a few products that would be nearly as big as travel size products, not sizes so small they can fit in a magazine. However, after seeing the reader’s picture it’s obvious that that’s the impression wm wants you to get so u buy it, but then they send you the samples that can literally only be used for one use instead of something that is travel size where you’d get 5 or 10 uses
I was disappointed with this box after getting nice full-size products in the past. I’m not going to cancel yet, but I will if the next box isn’t better.
The first box I received was the first picture. It was great. Second box was just ok. This one was disappointing. 3 travel size products and a bunch of samples. I know it is supposed to be samples but after receiving the great first box, I was expecting more. I feel tricked. I am canceling.

I just cancelled my subscription. I’m a huge makeup/beauty products lover but I don’t really care for shampoo/conditioner samples. I’m also cheap enough to not want to pay $$ monthly for a subscription since I also have to buy my monthly makeup/skin care wants so a 5 dollar box was my perfect compromise. But instead of having spent 5 bucks on this box, I could’ve bought a l’oreal mascara which would’ve been waayyyy more useful. :/

Exactly ladies! It’s astonishing to me that ppl are having a fit and canceling their subscription. I would be willing to bet the majority waste $5 every single time they go into a Walmart, target, CVS, etc. Not to mention paying $4 or more for Starbucks. $5 once every few months is NOTHING in the scheme of things.
don’t be bummed you guys! since we all save tons of $$$ thanks to collin, what is $5 for a little surprise? if you don’t like it, i’m sure everyone knows someone who will enjoy it! pay it forward. 🙂
I ordered 2 boxes for my mother & great-aunt back east on March 2 & had 2 $5 charges on CC, then noticed today 2 more $5 charges. I want to cancel, but cannot figure out how…help!
Log into the account on the box website and hit cancel subscription…unless they changed it now.

On your account page, to the right click the “cancel subscription” and follow the quick easy steps.
Coupons were pretty good. $3 off any Burts Bees renewal item. $5 woman’s rogaine 4 month supply. $1 Nivea in shower body lotion. $2 Loreal paris cosmetic. $2 Garnier moisturizer. $3 olay regenerist luminous
I don’t see how it’s worth it when we can get the full sizes free with coupons. If you want a surprise in the mail and good products, go with Ipsy instead.
I noticed they charged my cc in jan the $5 never received a box then again today I noticed another $5 charge so in total I have been charged 3 times and only received 1 box so far . Ive trying to log on and all I get is Our Box site can currently support only one themed Sample Boxes per email. Please use a different email address to proceed your subscription. We are working to support all Sample Boxes with a single email address.
Has anyone answered you? I’m still stumped on how to get through to cancel.Can’t find a receipt anywhere in my emails, either.

Wanted to update everyone with contents of my box I got today! Full size Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara, Travel size Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Shampoo & Conditioner, Travel size Dove body wash, Travel size Neutrogena Healthy Skin Boosters facial cleanser, sample Lady Gaga perfume sample, coupons and a couple other samples with the coupons (Nivea in shower body lotion, Garnier Ultra-Lift Miracle Sleeping Cream sample, and Maybelline Fit-Me Foundation sample). Totally keeping my subscription, the full size mascara alone is worth it to me!

I also canceled. Why pay for free samples, even if the charge is for shipping. Not with it.
I cannot track my box! It says, ” The Postal Service could not locate the tracking information for your request. Please verify your tracking number and try again later.” Frustrating. I did not get my last box too!
Not worth it!
Saw that some ( not me) got a different and much better Beauty Box. They got one with full sized cosmetics. Same thing last season — I got a lousy items but there was a different box with good stuff.
How does Walmart target? Would guess intentional by Walmart. Some of us do not count as much.
I saw my account was charged for this box on March 18 but I haven’t gotten it yet. Hoping it is better than the last one. Did anyone else receive the box before this spring one? Wondering what might have been in yours??? It was my first time signing up and I wasn’t impressed with the box, actually forgot about it and didn’t remember until I saw the $5 charged to my checking account the other day. Hope this one is better or I’ll need to cancel 🙂
Ladies, while later than most..I just received mine in mail!!! I was so disappointed (I got all of the above as noted on original post EXCEPT I got a Walmart coupon for a free full size dove spray deodorant!!!! I got all the free ones when posted earlier and fell in love!! I’m so excited with this box!!! The items were great as well as coupons!!! Woo hoo!!!!
I was charged in early March but after several weeks I hadn’t gotten my email with tracking, or my box. I called the number at the bottom of the FAQ page and they were unable to track my shipment. The associate immediately put in an order for another box and gave me his direct line should I have any questions. I just got my box in the mail today. While I’m not crazy excited like I was last season, the value is good. I got travel size samples of Total Repair 5 shampoo and conditioner, Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula, Jergens BB Body cream. Foil packets of Palmers skin therapy oil, Burts Bees Firming Serum, Ken Paves Shampoo, conditioner, and conditioning mask, Gaga perfume. I also got a coupon for a FREE full size Dove, Degree, or Axe dry deodorant spray worth up to $5.47. Since the cost of the box is less than the value of my coupon I’m a happy girl!
I never rec’d my box for spring nor was a charged. Anyone else have this problem>
