I’m gonna hippity hop on over to Tarjay!! 💐 Thanks!

    • ish

Lol, my brother calls target TARJET

  2. Jamie

For those who didn’t know, you can coat eggshells with mineral oil (use gloves!) and the eggs will keep for months without spoiling! I plan to pick up another bottle of mineral oil and 3-6 cartons of eggs, cause you can’t beat the protein of eggs at that price!

    • Jac

Oh, wow–never heard that. Thanks for sharing! Also, though I’ve never tried it I’ve heard you can freeze eggs by scrambling them and pouring into muffin tins or ice cube trays to freeze. When frozen you can remove them & place in a freezer bag. They can be used for baked goods, frittatas, quiche, omelettes, etc.

I usually freeze partials (either the yolk or white left over from another recipe) and I don’t care for the texture when thawed. However, in my experience, whole, uncooked eggs keep very well without freezing. I stock up when they are cheap, and I’ve never run into a bad one yet.

  3. Sarah

My target had 99 cents today and I bought a dozen

  4. Lydia

    Make sure to use ibotta!

    • 0405

the ibotta offer is only for eggs purchased at walmart or costco

  5. Jackie

Dillion’s has them for .99 this week too.

  6. Div

Off topic… airwick freshmatic starter kit was on clearance at target for 4.15.. Used $2/1 MQ and $2 snap credit … So only 15 cents

  7. Kathy

Kroger has them for .99 too. Limit 2.

    • shopper

      Fry’s also, .99, limit 2.

And buy any 3 participating Crush 2L, get Free Fry’s eggs. Limit 1 offer per transaction.

    • Erin

Not all Krogers 🙁 Be sure to check your ad.

    • barbara

My kroger has the 18 count 4/$5

  8. Happymama

Meijer has them for .99 each – no limit. I got 5 dozen this week 🙂

    • Kristi

Our Meijer has them for $.99 too, but they limit 4. I’ve gone twice this week and my husband has gone once for a total of 12 dozen eggs! We use a lot of them, so I love great prices.

  9. Suba

I didn’t see the offer for egg in ibotta at target, it’s only for Kroger, Walmart,Costco ..

    • michelle

It shows in my target ibotta

  10. joshua

And don’t forget to use Cartwheel 5% off Market Pantry eggs

    • K

That cartwheel ends Saturday. So won’t be able to use it unless your store has the sake price early.

  11. michelle

And you can use the ibotta app for $.25 back on any eggs

  12. Michelle

I am not a big fan of target’s eggs. They have a weird smell. I ended up throwing the dozen away. Just a heads up.

    • Maria

Wow that’s good to know. I never buy groceries from target, it’s easier for me to buy from aldi, but that egg price is better than aldis

      • me

I’ve never had Target eggs smell bad. Maybe you got a bad batch?

  13. Teri A

    Lol my dad does too

  14. Cassandra White

    Awesome!!!

  15. Kris

I see breakfast for dinner a lot in the near future! Thanks!!

    • jac

We hard boil a dozen or two every week and eat them for breakfast, snacks, or on salads (great with an avocado sliced over it). We’ve made some pretty nice fritatta recipes recently, too.

For any paleo/primal/whole30 foodies, this is a great stock-up price for a high-protein-and-“healthy”-fat food. Our fridge will be filled with eggs next week 🙂

  16. Danielle

I have been waiting for a sale on eggs to bust out my ice cream machine! Now is the time for frozen custard and angel food cake!!

  17. Anabel

Do you guys know if there’s a limit on the dozens of eggs on target ?

  18. movuejace

Looks like it is only certain targets … maybe super targets? Idk 🙁

  19. Caroline
