No ups for the time being. Once the new program starts in May, you will earn points instead of UPs, which you can still spend at Rite Aid or redeem at any of the partners listed in the program.
I’m not sure but I am close to 100% sure that the points earned at rite aid will only be able to be redeemed at rite aid…. Kinda like Walgreens. 😞
the points that you add up to earn your discount stay the same…you have until December 31st to add them up like usual. The UP reward program ends on 04/07, but any UP you receive up until that day, will still be good for two weeks after you receive it. They added the program called “Plenti” and its another point system, but you can use it at other retailers and use those points at Rite Aid just like UP rewards. Plenti points have TWO years before they reset.
i stopped going to Walgreens and if riteaid program is like that i won’t waste my time. the programs for jan and feb this year were a joke and i didnt shop at riteaid. i have been gold for years but think instead of gold i will be gone

No you can only use one store coupon and one mfg coupon per item combine. If you using the coupon from the tmrw inserts, that would be considered a mfg coupon. You are only able to stack one mfg and not two mfg on one item.

Sorry, but they are not going to change their mind. It’s a huge multi-promotional deal with other companies (Macys, Exxon, etc) American Express woo’d them, so RA is not about to pull out when the Plenti Points hasn’t even officially started yet.
Also, how can you complain about a program that is new and you haven’t even had a chance to try out yet?
I am shocked a manager told you to call and complain….every district has a CCC (it’s like a student council) that get together every month and discuss store operations, customer concerns, how to improve things, etc. I am one of the members of my districts CCC and I’ve seen one persons words move up the chain and make a change. I’m also a FE manager and when customers call or go online to complain about the company as a whole, it hurts the stores customer service score. So if you are 100% happy with the people and service in your store, but not happy with the company, calling is doing more harm.
I’ve read a majority of these comments and I am going to be mentioning it all in the next conference call…
Just so everyone knows…us store employees do know how unhappy some people can be about this program change, since we do work with you all daily.
And the company did not send info out to us about this Plenti program until a customer actually asked and complained about it. So we were blind sighted by it, especially when non employees found out first.

Things change everyday because people ban together and make their voices known Duduwa. Please don’t listen to anyone that says otherwise. If you want to voice your opinion do so without hesitation. I feel sorry for the cashiers. Less foot traffic means less jobs or less hours.
I agree! I also beleive actions speak louder then words…and I do think rite aid will realize what a mistake this is when they lose tons of customers. When are stores going to realize that to keep customers they must be priced competitively and keep the shopping experience easy? Rite aid is over priced and I can get better deals else where. Just my opinion though…
I never said she couldn’t complain, but at this point it is moot. RA already made up their mind (based on feedback! which I would like to know who they surveyed, b/c I sure wouldn’t have given my approval for this type of program!! But apparently it is working very nicely in other countries). I think so many people are afraid of change. Heck, I was disappointed when I found out.. but after it settling in my head/heart for the past wk, I am curious about this new program. I will wait until the ads start coming out before I decide if I am going to quit shopping RA.
I do have to disagree with you on your comment though Meg. People shop at drug stores for convenience, not price. I find RA regular shelf prices are just about the same as CVS or Walgreens. Only couponers play the game of waiting for something to go on sale, to stack with store & manuf coupons. I see so many people buying full retail, on items that were on sale the previous wk or don’t want to bother with a rewards card. Or they do have a sale item, but no coupon. Also, drug stores don’t count on couponers to make bank. A majority of their profit comes from the pharmacy. Want to hit them, transfer your RX’s to other stores!
Like I said…just my opinion. If people want to pay over inflated prices then by all means do so. A lot of people are getting tired of the drug store games and jumping through hoops. I will shop where my money goes the furthest. Have a good day.
the manager in my local store said that before they started the program they could barely do any profit. since, they increase profit about 5 times. rite aid is not walgreens, you cannot find them at every corner to shop. so, this was their big mistake/
I guess that would depend on where you live. Where I am there at 9 Rite aid stores in my city from East to West side and only 2 Walgreens and 5 CVS stores not to mention 3 different grocery chains, plus WalMart, Target, Kmart, Dollar stores etc so I really do have the ability to shop wherever the best deals are. I’m waiting to see what the new program is like before I judge but in the case of my shopping I have a lot of choices and if Rite Aid is not good they will likely lose business.
I agree a lot of people shop for the convenience.
From what I have read on Rite Aid’s new program, it does not seem like it is going to be too bad. It seems like it is going to be similar to Balance Rewards, but better. Hopefully there will be no limits again! Do not give up on Rite Aid until we hear more! It could be better!

problem with plenti points – macy’s is cheap crap over priced. havent bought anything there in years! exxon is over priced gas as well. so thinking riteaid missed the mark on this mess
Might be regional, but Exxon is cheaper in my area over Shell. Actually SAMs club is the cheapest of all the gas stations in my area, but I’m not going to drive out of my way for a fill up! If I can earn points on an Exxon fill up, then use at rite aid, it might not be that bad of a program. Now Macy’s i do agree with ya, I can’t remember the last time I stepped foot in their store!
Well we don’t have any Macy’s or Exxon. Meanwhile at CVS, I rolled ECBs today and got 6 12 packs of Bounty Papertowels for $24:) CVS just got me back:)
Does anyone else have a problem with the Rite Aid Facebook coupons not scanning? I went in today to use the two coupons on their Facebook page for easter candy and neither one scanned, they had to be entered manually. I always seem to have this problem with their Facebook coupons.
Yes, I frequently have problems with them not scanning. They usually come up with a message that the coupon has expired when actually it has not and most times I just printed it that morning. As long as they put it in for you, I guess that’s what counts.
How come I can’t find any Mucinex rebate form in both 2/22 SS and 3/8 SS?
Mine didn’t have a form, just an ad and all it said to do was mail the original cash register tape, product UPC along with my Name & Addy on a 3×5 card.
Sorry, I don’t have the rebate address handy, but you can probably google Mucinex rebate and find a site that has it posted.
Can you use one coupon per item on a b1g1?
