I agree! I did buy a BOB revolution jogging stroller, but I got it for working out and used my coupon and deal hunting abilities to get it for $150. My family still thought I was crazy for buying a $150 stroller. This just seems like a regular stroller, but maybe I’m missing something?

We bought a high end stroller, and it’s been worth every penny. In fact, many friends have bought the same one we had after testing ours out on occasions. If you can get by with a budget stroller, more power to you! But I do know people that have this one as well and speak highly of it.

Spending $400 on a stroller might sound like a lot to someone that lives in suburbia and drives everywhere, but it’s a pretty good bargain for someone living in a city. I have spent time in Chicago with my 2yr old, and a good, lightweight, durable stroller is a must for the amount of walking that comes with living there. Its commonplace to see $1000+ strollers being pushed around in a big city like that, so $400 for this definitely seems like a good deal to me! I love my Britax and would definitely suggest it to anyone considering one!!
Thank you for posting the deal. Everyone has their own opinions. My husband and I can afford high end items but we went with the middle of the line items with excellent ratings. Our car seat was a GRACO and not chicco and I ca tell you it lasted just fine for all of our kids and it will last for a few more. We got several items from craigslist as well and they did the job and we even sold them back on CL. You don’t have to spend a fortune and get the lastest gratest of everything. We got the most solid furniture fr the nursery on CL absolutely beautiful and they lasted for years and we just sold them for even more than we paid. I always tell new moms never to pay full price, just do research and get a good deal or used on something that is highly rated but not necessarily high end. We had the book baby bargains that we got most ideas from.

Thanks for sharing! I agree that a higher end stroller makes a big difference in the city. The difference may be small when pushing it in the mall but the difference in the wheel construction and durability on many of these pricier models makes navigating endless curbs and streets much easier. I personally have an uppababy ( I did snag a great deal on it of course) and definitely think it was worth the money. There are few things I choose to splurge on, but a great stroller was one of them for sure.
Britax/Bob (same company) is the most amazing company to deal with. Recently my bob got a rip in it from my toddlers ice skate.I called bob and a brand new bob was on my door step a few days later with a return shipping label, they were soooo amazing to deal with. My first bob was bought in 2012 for $300 and in 2014 I wanted upgrade to the new flex version because I’m short, so I listed the bob on craigslist for $300 expecting to get talked down a bunch, instead I had 5 emails saying they could pick up right away for the $300 price. They retain their value well and they are workhorses which is why they have such a cult like following. One thing I will say is only buy the add on accessories as needed, you might find you don’t need the seat liner or rain cover and can save money that way too, the parent console is a must though in my opinion 🙂
You get what you pay for! Britax is a high quality brand & you can really tell the difference between this one & cheap ones wirh regards to durability, workmanship, materials used & comfort. I would buy this in a wink!
I’ve bought the Chico travel system for $300 and bought the convertible seat for $260 and we’re the average middle class family. Everyone told me to be cheap and get graco but their products are horrible IMO and I rather go broke spending money on quality products. I really wanted the city mini but I couldn’t afford it at the time. Whenever I have another kid I will buy the city mini or similar because it makes life that much easier!!
