Check out this email I received from reader Lisa –

Just wanted to share what I saved my Pinecone survey points for: a Tiffany necklace! It arrived yesterday directly from Tiffany & Co…I think I redeemed my points for it about two weeks ago. I love it! I wouldn’t be able to justify purchasing such a lovely necklace if it wasn’t for Pinecone surveys πŸ˜€ [/h2s_box]

    • justme

same here I want to know how many points you had to save to get it? It’s lovely!

  3. Anna

    Beautiful! I want one too!

  4. J

I personally can’t stand Tiffany or similar brands (so much money just to wear their name and advertise for them?) but soooo glad to see there a genuinely nice rewards!

  5. Sofia

How many surveys did you have to complete for that?

  6. Dawn

I can’t get in that research company! Am I too old??? Annoying.

    • JIll

      I can’t either…. and the link above isn’t working

    • CrescentCityCurly

I’m over 50 and usually get about 5 surveys a month. I would think they want people in every age bracket.

  7. Agata

I have $150 on my account right now doing 2-3 surveys per week. I love this site! You qualify for every survey they send you, so you dont waste time doing surveys you dont qualify for πŸ˜‰

  8. Pam

i love this site also!! i’ve been doing it for almost 3 years and do about 2-3 surveys a week. i have about $100 in my account right now (hate to say i’ve missed some surveys here and there) i cash out normally during back to school time and use that money to get some clothes for my kids. of course, i try to stretch my savings by combining my pinecone money with various coupons or rewards from other stores i shop at during the year (old navy, kohls, target gift cards). it’s so much for us!

    • Chelsey

I usually only get 1 survey every other week! I wish I could get 2-3 a week!!

      • mckeeversmom

I think you can change the frequency of the surveys coming to you by changing something in your personal information. It seems to me I saw this one time but i’m not sure where. If you have some time to spare, it might be worth your while to check around on the site once you are logged in. Sorry I am not more specific or helpful.

For those wondering, on Pinecone’s Redeem page, this Tiffany & Co. necklace is 15,358 points. It would take doing around 51 surveys to cash out for it.

    • Ashley57

Since Pinecone has a cash out option, it is equivalent to $153 cash. The necklace on now is sterling silver, and the one above appears to be gold. The sterling silver one is $125 on Tiffany’s site, so it appears to be $28 cheaper by cashing out and then buying directly from Tiffany.

  10. Cindy

    how can I sign up??

  11. L.

I only get 1 or 2 surveys every 2 weeks or so so it all depends. Her experience is not typical. I have been a member of Pinecone research for about a year. They are a good survey company though because you qualify for every survey so you are not wasting your time doing them. I only get 3 points per survey so to get over 15000 points would take forever but as with most of these survey sites and apps it can be more beneficial to save your points.

    • Sofia

With that math its over 5,000 surveys, if you get 2 surveys a week you only complete 312 surveys a year. So it would take you 16 years to earn that necklace.

      Hmmmmm……..

      • Sofia

The silver version of that necklace is $125. I think I’ll just splurge on buying the necklace. :p

    • jenn

I get 300 point per survey and get on average around 1-3 surveys per week.

    • Jaszmine

That’s odd, unless you just have the wrong information. I earn 300 points, or $3 if I cashed out immediately, for each survey. Which would make JDD’s estimation of 51 surveys correct.

    • Angela

I get 300 points per survey.

  12. tina

how do u get cash for the points

    • Niki

Click on redeem points. On the left side there is a option called featured awards, you will see cash option.

      • tina

        Thank you!

  13. Reba

Are there any other legitimate survey sites to join if you cannot get into pinecone?

    • amber

I do surveys on pi eco e, as well as opinion outpost, my survey, paid viewpoint, quest mindshare, and parent speak. I have been paid from every single site without an issue. Pinecone is nice because, as mentioned above, many other sites make you answer 5-10 questions to see if you qualify for each survey and that can get a bit annoying. I think it is worth it for the bit of extra money I get

  14. Christa

Wow – I get 3-4 per month from pinecone, MAYbe. I think I need to be more fascinating when answering the Household Questions… I think they find me too boring. πŸ˜‰

  15. SHIELA

can anyone invite me to this survey panel? πŸ™‚ please?
